Acid Black Cherry to collaborate with 109MEN'S for the 2nd time

It's been revealed that Acid Black Cherry and 109MEN'S will be having a collaboration campaign once again.

The last time Acid Black Cherry and 109MEN'S collaborated was back in February of 2012. It received a favourable reception, resulting in clothing brands worn by yasu to immediately sell out. yasu continues to be a fashion icon among men as he ranked number 1 in this year's popular artist ranking for men's fashion magazine 'MEN'S KNUCKLE'.

This time, the collaboration will be held from November 1 to 21. Not only will the campaign be held at 109MEN'S Shibuya, but it will also be held at 109 MEN'S in Sapporo, Shizuoka, and Tenjin.

Acid Black Cherry to collaborate with 109MEN's

Janne Da Arc's vocalist yasu's solo project Acid Black Cherry has announced that they will be collaborating with 109 MEN's for the 2nd time. "Acid Black Cherry x 109MEN's" collaboration was announced on MEN'S KNUCKLE that was released on 24th this month.

Acid Black Cherry collaborated with the fashion building also in February 2012, and this will be the first time 109MEN's is collaborating with the same artist multiple times. Also, the collaboration will not be done only at 109 MEN's Shibuya, but in Sapporo, Shizuoka and Tenjin (Fukuoka) too.

The 2nd collaboration is a result of the success of the previous campaign, after which the clothes from the brand yasu wore were sold out immediately and the fact that Acid Black Cherry's 3rd album "2012" released last month topped Oricon's weekly charts as number 1.

The visuals for the collaboration will be released on 2014/11/01, so keep your eyes open!

Huge Acid Black Cherry taking over Shibuya 109MEN'S

Acid Black Cherry announced their 2nd collaboration with 109MEN'S last month, and the campaign "Acid Black Cherry×109MEN'S" started on 2014/11/01.

Like previously, yasu styled with clothing from brands available in 109MEN'S is all over the shopping centre. On the building wall and in the entrance you can see huge Acid Black Cherry. You could see people stop to take pictures of it.

Also this time the collaboration isn't done only in Shivuya 109MEN'S, but you can also see yasu visuals in Sapporo, Fukuoka and Tenjin's 109MEN'S. During the campaign there will also be special present projects done in the 4 cities.

Acid Black Cherry×109MEN'S will be held from 2014/11/01 to 2014/11/21 in Shibuya, Sapporo, Fukuoka and Shizuoka's 109 MEN'S, so if you happen to be around go check them out!

Guys! I need some ABC recs from more seasoned veterans...I absolutely LOVE Yasashii uso and YES, but haven't really heard anything of his beyond that. Any songs or albums you recommend I try out?

Mh, for me as a very big fan it's hard to recommend just a few songs. But I think his albums are worth it to be heard in full, because they are all concept albums. That's why I would recommend to read the lyrics or their translations when listening.
Maybe one of the concepts will interest you?

BLACK LIST is about the seven deadly sins.

Q.E.D. is about a murderer story. yasu even wrote a full story and every song on the album is about a character of the story. The story doesn't tell you who's the murderer, with the help of the songs you should be able to find out by yourself.

"2012" has the whole world ending theme to it. The characters behind the songs are all struggling with life but in the end there is hope.

If you are interested in one of the albums I would upload them for you, if you can't find them. And if you want I could post links to the lyrics or to the story behind Q.E.D.

If you like 80's and 90's J-music I recommend his Recreation albums. Those are albums with cover songs of the 80's and 90's.

Oh and you need to listen to Kimi ga iru kara and Kuroneko ~Adult Black Cat~! Those are my favourites! (Both are singles and not released on an album)

Acid Black Cherry reveals details on new album 'L'

Acid Black Cherry has revealed some details on his upcoming album "L" that's slated for release on February 4, 2015.

"L" will be a concept album with the theme of "love". It's said to follow the story of an imaginary woman named "L" who has had many ups and downs throughout her life. The CD will contain a total of 13 tracks including his 4 singles "Greed Greed Greed", "Kuroneko ~Adult Black Cat~", "Kimi ga Inai, Ano Hi Kara...", and "INCUBUS".

The album will be available for purchase in 3 different types: CD+DVD (Project "Shangri-la" LIVE Edition), CD+DVD (Project "Shangri-la" Document Edition), and CD-Only Edition.

The LIVE Edition DVD will include the entire performance from "Project Shangri-la" arena tour which was held on May 29 at Nippon Budokan.

Meanwhile, the Document Edition DVD will include a documentary from his tour, an MC best collection, and PVs of his 4 singles.

Furthermore, both CD+DVD Editions will enclose a 100-page concept story book, and the First Press Edition of the CD-Only Edition will come with a 44-page photo booklet.

I'm really excited for this album, I hope it is as good as 2012 was. I find it kind of weird they announced it so early since February seems a bit far now...I wish the album would be released earlier

Actually it's not . I know other artistes that I support who're also releasing albums in Feb but so far Acid Black Cherry is the only 1 I know that have revealed more details on his new album

That said , I feel sorry for the fans as the thought of buying all 3 editions of L is just not my thing . Hence I just settle for the edition that has the PVs in the DVD , just like his previous 3 albums that I have
