Titles that sound epic but fall short in sound...
So are there any songs or even albums that have really awesome/cool/interesting/mysterious/beautiful/dazzling titles, but are just not that great once you listen to them?
I actually experience this quite a lot with other artists more so than with Ayu, but just to name a new... evolution - Man oh man! I was so thrilled with that title when I first saw it, and I was just itching to hear the song. I was expecting something extraordinary and beautiful...or maybe edgy and intense. While the song IS rocky and upbeat, it just feels really random to me ![]() a song is born - I found this title to be very beautiful and peaceful sounding. Yes, the song is fueled by ideas of peace and love...but I just don't like it. I respect the message...but I really don't care for the song itself (especially the version with Keiko). Free & Easy - I was really expecting something kind of laid back and chill...or maybe something like a mid-tempo dance-ish pop song. But nah...to me this song is just weird. I can't help but feel that its arrangement is a bit haphazard. NEXT LEVEL - Now I was seriously ready for some edgy and fierce pop song...like Startin' or something. While I don't entirely dislike this song, nor do I find the composition to not fit the title, I always feel that it leaves much to be desired once it hits the chorus. It's like the song is anti-climactic yet it has so much potential to turn into a fun, summer dance song or something of the like. So what about you guys?
