I'm hoping too, cause it sounds like it would be magical, and epic, and dark, just the way I like my Evanescence. (I would have bought the entire OST of Narnia just for that one track ) hopely it'll be on the b-side of the single. hopefully.

yeah, just a little bit. (actually, its kinda funny and kinda gross XD, I don't think I've seen that smilie before) but everyone is entitled his/her own opinions.

I'm curious to hear what Lacrymosa sounds like. a wiki caption beside the song say that it will have samples of Mozart's Requiem, that would be so cool if it did.

there's a new update on http://evanescencetheopendoor.blogspot.com/ about the new evanescence album, so i thought i'd give you all an update:

Anyway, just to start you off with the new posts by Amy. She let us know that Will has decided to leave the band. He wants to spend more time with family and will not be in any of the promos or in the video. Sad I know, but here's what she said:
Hey everybody. We just had a killer couple of weeks filled with press, photos, and an incredible video shoot that I know youre gonna love. Things are going great and I'm really getting excited for the new album. Unfortunately, I have some sad news. A few weeks ago, Will decided to leave the band. He said that he just cant go through with another huge tour right now, and wants to stay a little closer to his family instead. Tour is hard- you kind of have to sacrifice your life for it, so we can all understand. We love Will very much and wish him nothing but happiness in everything he does. We've been playing music together since I was in jr. high. I miss him already! I love you guys, don't worry about the band- nothing has changed in the schedule and were all excited to get out there and play again. See you soon!

The song I wrote for the movie is still in tact- when I wrote it, I wrote a really long instrumental intro that is different from the rest of the song. Its just a piece of music. It turned out to be the perfect segway into the last song on the album. chillax!

Also, just to let you guys know, the Video for "Call Me When You're Sober" has been completed and it has been leaked that it revolves around the theme of "Little Red Riding Hood". Look out for the video soon! And check back here; we will have it for you!

The background chorus reminds me of the latin vocals in Anything for You (I love it when she does that in her music...)

I loved how she made the intro of Lacrymosa (with the strings) the same as Mozart's.

I love the antique/old-style doors/windows they stand in front of -- so pretty. I'm not too impressed with Amy's makeup though, she seems to have forgotten the rule that only the eyes or lips (not both) should be done up -- but I can forgive

The FULL VERSIONS for Lacrymosa, CMWYS and Cloud Nine HAVE BEEN LEAKED onto a Russian server of free music downloads... the clip I uploaded for CMWYS is about 20 seconds long (counting the seconds the french woman uses to speak about the song).

Prior to the album release, Evanescence will unleash new single 'Call Me When You're Sober' as a digital download on September 4 before its official release on September 25.

so this means that we should have CMWYS by Friday! yay!
And CMWYS sounds pretty good! from the title I was kinda expecting some crappy rock song, sorta like Broken (not evanescence style), but I was proven wrong! can't wait to hear the whole song!


and if anyone does manage to find those leaked songs *cough-share with me!-cough*
