Crapstorms happen. Not like it's the end of the world, people, sales drop for everyone. Yes, even for Ayumi. Contrary to popular belief, she IS human (this is up for debate) and everyone loses their luster with time.

Since 1 LOVE got aired just recently in Japan (I think), sales might be pretty stable. All her new PVs for the album are really pretty, I'm sure they'll promote the album well for some time.

Did Secret cause a sales resurgence in (miss)understood or BLUE BIRD though?

Well in terms of rankings, it doesn't really drop that much, but sales-wise they're on the same boat as Ayu. Although, Mr. Children seems to be avoiding kind of avoiding this trend and they've been around for 14 years.

....?Alterna wasn't an album exclusive it came out with the single Fairyland c/w Alterna.
also Ayu is still #1 weekly thats just daily

SALES number used to be a big issue to me, but right now its all back to the QUALITY of the ALBUM.. if AYU fans happy with it the n SECRET is a sucsess
! let this also be a lesson for AYU so she can make a MORE better album next year.

Honestly, if she'd just start performing some of her album tracks, it would probably help. I'm sure we're all kinda tired of watching JEWEL lives now no matter HOW good the song is. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE JEWEL, just that it would be great if she'd just perform something else once in a while.
