So there's a good possibility that 4 Minutes To Save The World is fake, I think Warner left that one up. I'm not sure what to think because sometimes they delete fakes to create hype. I really hope it's real because it's probably my favorite of the clips. We shall see I guess.

I love La, La and the fan cover too! I am getting so excited for 2008 it's not even funny. As much as I hate downtime between albums, it's also the best because of all the suspense.

Adoption given the okay for Madonna

Madonna has gotten 'the best Christmas gift she's ever received' - the government go-ahead to adopt the Malawi tot to whom she's been the foster mother for more than a year.
After months of waiting - and an initial firestorm of criticism over how she reportedly worked the system to take now-2-year-old David Banda from the tiny African country - the Material Mom, 49, and director hubby Guy Ritchie were finally cleared to adopt the adorable toddler, In Touch Weekly reports.
'Madonna hid it well, but there was a part of her that was worried that the adoption wouldn't go through,' a pal said. 'This is the best Christmas gift she's ever received.'
The child had been living with the singer since October 2006.

It's official!

The ever-evolving Madonna was announced as a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee on Thursday along with John Mellencamp, The Ventures, Leonard Cohen and The Dave Clark Five.

"The 2008 inductees are trailblazers — all unique and influential in their genres," Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation President and CEO Joel Peresman said in a statement. "From poetry to pop, these five acts demonstrate the rich diversity of rock and roll itself."

This new clip surfaced and as far as I know it's untitled. The vocals sound kinda pasted together to me, I think it's fake. It sounds like a smidge of Candy Shop is in it. If you've heard the Cleo mix of Candy Shop the part at the very beginning sounds like it's in here. It's where she sings "I got turkish delight.." but only the "I g-" part is audible. What do you guys think?

I think it'll pick up once she actively starts working with them. She still has to fulfill the rest of her contract with Warner so it won't be overnight. It sounds like we've got some big stuff in store for us, I can't wait.

Timbaland: Watch out for Madonna's new single in January!

Our reader Michael was listening to Z100 in New York on my way home from work and they were interviewing Timbaland backstage at Jingle Ball.

As they were wrapping up the interview they asked if he had anything else he wanting to mention and he said that coming up in the next quarter - he then said this January - look out for Madonna’s first single with him and Justin...

"For the first quarter, January, we wanna look out for Madonna's first single which features me and Justin (Timberlake)," said Timbaland.

"I did most of her album," Timbaland added. "Me and The Neptunes did the album. She (Madonna) has an incredible album!"

We remind you that at the album listening party Madonna said that she didn't decide the first single yet, since she was undecided between "Candy Shop" (produced by Pharrell Williams/The Neptunes) and "4 Minutes To Save The World" (produced by Timbaland and Justin Timberlake) . Even if she was all about "Candy Shop", Warner people attending the listening party suggested her to release "4 Minutes To Save The World" as fist single.

Information about the first single and video for "4 Minutes To Save The World"

Final confirmation is just in from M-Tribe's sources that the first single from Madonna's upcoming album will be "4 Minutes To Save The World".
We can also exclusively report that Madonna will film the video for the opening single of her 2008 album in January. The clip will be directed by Jonas Akerlund and both Justin Timberlake and Timbaland are going to be there too.

As exclusively reported on this site last month, "4 Minutes To Save The World" is an upbeat hip-hop Madonna/Justin Timberlake duet and is one of the tracks produced by Justin together with Timbaland - a song with an instantly catchy vibe, with percussion layers and hypnotic synthetized strings.

In more album related last minute news, we've always been told that "Across the Sky" is not set to be released on the album anymore.

Timbo played a clip of 4 Minutes To Save The World during his performance at Jingle Ball in Philadelphia. The clip is terrible quality and the crowd is very loud but you can get a pretty good idea still. It's AMAZING and it's screaming huge hit to me! I'm so excited! We're in for a wild ride boys and girls! Apparently there is a full clip floating around somewhere but I can't find it! It's driving me absolutely nuts.

Timbaland: Madonna set the deal

Timbaland was interviewed backstage at the Jingle Ball in Philadelphia this weekend by Q102. In the interview he talks about shooting the video for 4 Minutes to Save the World with Madonna and Justin Timberlake and how Madonna has 'set the rule':

On his possible retirement:
No, the next thing I'm shooting....the next video I am doing is me, Justin and Madonna.
Is there anyone else he wants to work with?
That was it, that set the deal, Madonna set the deal....after I did her album I'm cool. Me and Justin went in and did her album in London.
