This doesn't sound like a great idea to me. Sounds like a mistake. Plus that we know there's a choir, I really can't imagine the song being that great. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what it turns out like.

I guess this is going to be some lighthearted, fun-loving song if the dancers are going to be in it! I was hoping for a more laid-back summer song, but yay anyway!

i'm not sure how i feel about the inclusion of dancers into every single thing ayu does nowadays.

she hangs out with them, has them in her videos, has them in commercials, has them in her concerts of course, and now singing in her songs...it's like, why? i understand she's obviously friends with them, but i mean, we're fans of ayu, not ayu + her dancers. At least that's how i feel. i could care less if all of a sudden she got new dancers. they're not why i watch ayu's concerts and such. iunno, i mean i'm obviously jumping the gun, this could be one of her best singles for all i know...but the fact that the dancers are so present is so strange to me. i cant think of any other artist that does this.

If this is true, she should have been over right when Independent came.

I don't really understand why people are like "No!!"
Honestly, Would you be able to tell if they were singing or some other male choir was singing?
Look at Hanabi Episode II, during lives her band sings the "Woo~" thing..
And it sounds the same as the recording..

We dont really know if they are trained or not.
Look at Naoya from AAA! He was Ayumi's back dancer during a concert series,
And now he is a very good vocalist.
So yeah, I think it's a bit much for us to say "oh they suck~~ go back home."

I think this situation is exactly the same as EXILE GENERATION.
The name Ayumi Hamasaki now includes all of her dancers, like the name EXILE includes all those new dancers.
I really like to get to know them~~ they seem very fun~~~

And really, why would you pay some professionals, if she is confident the dancers can do the same job?

This isn't the first time she used her staffs in a song, and not her last, I dont think.

actually it's really just the dancer's that are getting on my nerves. having band members in songs is a little different...they're band members...they play music...that's what they do.

and i guess i shouldn't have generalized my opinion. personally, i don't like the continuous inclusion of ayu's dancers in her material. i liked when ayu was at the forefront of her music and her videos consisted of either a.) just ayu, or b.) ayu and actors/extras.

But hey, that's just me. *shrug*

and i just thought it was interesting that my friend said that, sorry if it offended you (...?)

I like songs where she includes extra staff...it just shows us that it's gonna be FUN.

Yeah, it now seems that when you think "ayumi hamasaki" you don't just see her, but her dancers are becoming a part of her image as well. I never understood why people even bothered with her dancers when I first became a fan of Ayu but they seemed to keep popping up and ayu always mentioning them so I kind of see it now. Although really I don't care but I just got to know as more time went by.

The woman is really hamasaki ayumi (or rather 浜崎歩).

But ayumi hamasaki is an artist, and artists have a lot of people behind them, some behind the scenes (her staff), some in the limelight with her (her dancers and her band).

I don't see any problem, plus this just reinforces what people say about how much power she has over her career.

Who would do the guys voice background from the CD ? that's their job to do it while they play the music .... take .. hmm Dir en grey, on CD there are some background vocal, you want what on stage ? That no one do them because that's the singer who did them on the CD ? Nope, the band members will do them, that's also their job, that's NOT the job of dancers.

Dancers dance, they don't sing, or they would be in a boys band .... they're surely not trained to make a whole album nor a single, so if they do sing, it will be some lalalala

Ayumi Hamasaki = Ayumi Hamasaki no one else, for me at last, I want to listen to Ayumi and watch an Ayumi live, not her dancers ..... they are just there to fill the stage and entertainment, nothing more. And for her PVS she should hire actors, her dancers are really bad for this.

I don't even understand the stuff around her dancers .... nothing wonderful .....

I know many japanese artists but she is the only one that speak a lot about her staff and her dancers and all ... but never her band members .... which is kinda funny because if no band members = no live .... while no dancers = no prob.

Yay, great news - am looking forward to hearing the song!

I get where everyone is coming from re the dancers. Recently, I did start to think there were too many of them and that the choreography is a little cheesy. But I like how Ayumi always includes her band and dancers in her performances. I'm not saying I want the dancers on every song, but as this is a summer song, I think it's quite fitting that the dancers are on it as her performances with her dancers and band are always a lot of fun! And you can see how much everyone is enjoying themselves. And it's Summer tune so will have to be fun!

It would be good if in addition to the dancers we had Yoshio and the rest of the band in the PV too!
