If days could sell 61K in 1st day and R/S 42K then S/S should be in the middle at least 50K

no. Poker face still the lowest only 42K total sales.
I think S/S sales much similar with Glitter/Fated

Just hope tomorrow sales wont drop below 20K that it will be considered good sales

S/S has a good chance to outsell it.

It seems like talkin' 2 myself will remain the scapegoat as of the late era of ayu.

For a pretty bad single (imo) this is doing quite well. To me, the songs and pvs just look like they cut corners... same tune, 2 songs, same stage, 2 pvs. Unattractive covers, not really memorable songs, so... I'm pleasantly surprised at the sales! Make it to numbah 1!!!

talkin' 2 myself only debuted with around 25k dropping to 16k the second day if I remember well, it still managed to sell 110k. Which means that this single will too

Generally those sales are undeniably still good they will affect ayu (well avex) with a great profit.
If it will manage to sell 130,000 (like R/S) or 115,000+ it will be really good since it will sell similar to namie's single (who just had a million and a half selling album). The only three who passed that are YUI, ayu (with D/G that is considered 2009 in oricon year and is the 2nd best selling single by a female artist this year) and that enka singer with ai no mamade that has the best selling single by a female artist of this year.

We can see that female artists didn't so much great with singles this year.
That's why if S/S will manage 115,000+ in total it will be great since averagely it seems to be the new great, or at least above average for female singers with singles.

deep inside I hope this single do not sell much, first because is a weak single so it does not deserve high sales, and second because I hope she understands that she needs a break

So D/G will be on the 2009 single ranking, right? I remember YUI fans rejoicing that YUI's single "again" surpassed Ayu's R/S as in terms of sales in 2009 and is now the best-selling single by a female artist this year. I suppose they weren't counting oricon year. I feel oddly happy about that.

I'm still hoping that S/S won't go by the halving formula for her other single sales though. Since there wasn't first press for this single, perhaps the 2nd day sales will be higher. THEN going by that and making a prediction:

36k --> 26k --> 15k --> 9k --> 9k --> 7k = 102k

I tried to be very optimistic with the dropping numbers. 2nd day numbers were inflated just because I hope they will be high. YUI's 1st two days were really really good. If only Ayu went from 36k to 34k.

On a side note if we did the usual halving though:

36k --> 18k --> 9k --> 9k --> 9k --> 7k = 88k

that time when YUI's again was released , all her fans rejoiced in that she had the highest 1st week sales attained by a female solo artiste & NOT the total sales that again has accumulated so far

I should add that again's her 2nd best selling single , the 1st being Goodbye-days

anyway I hope Sunrise/Sunset will do well . I can't comment about Morning Museume at all since I don't listen to them

Koda with 3 SPLASH has sold 87K in 3 weeks with a 3 a-side single and 3 PV and multiple verions with gift, etc... so looking at that it seems great if ayu can do that in only 1 week with S/S.... no? ^^

I actually think that it's her strongest summer single since INSPIRE.

I really wouldn't mind if it would outsell, fairyland, BLUE BIRD or glitter/fated but it has no chance
