everything sold 1,8million copies.. and her debut album mother father brother sister had sold more than 2,5million and the her best seller album...

maybe people get boring with her music...

#1: Ayumi Hamasaki (GUILTY) - 9,238 (x1.7) = 15,705
#2: Kobukuro (5296) - 8,987 (x1.7) = 15,278
#3: EXILE (EXILE LOVE) - 7,185 (x1.7) = 12,215

those chart for today..but weekly chart ayu has lost to be 1st in oricon chart

According to Tetsuki @ JPM forum, Ascencion sold 73k on its first week.So, I'm assuming that MISIA's new album will sold around 60-70k in its first week. If I'm not mistaken, Secret 3rd week sales was around 50k. If GUILTY sales is more stable than Secret, ayu may have chance to get #1 next week.

Yeah... and MISIA's album is most likely to sell lower in total and first week (unless there is something special about the album or her general sales or popularity went up since last year).

its mean ayu,kobukuro,etc sales count this week start from tuesday and misia start from wednesday...

Yeah,ayu and kobukuro start on tuesday and MISIA from wednesday.
IMO, ayu has advantage from her deafness thing news.Press starts to expose her deafness on TV and newspaper. It's kinda "promotion" for ayu/GUILTY (although in a bad & sad way)

I would LOL SO HARD if GUILTY would manage to hit #1 in its third week. It'll be like the A BEST 2 -BLACK- we never had.

The sales are fine, considering how mediocre the singles did.

I think it's gonna be a fight between Ayu, Kobukuro and EXILE, until Koda releases "Kingdom". I don't see other big album release that are huge for the next 2 weeks. Unless Tohoshiki ends up selling a lot. I'm not really sure if they are popular in Japan. I guess they are a little.

Ayu should have released her album this week or next week. Her #1 position would be 100% secured.

Well there's (another) ZARD best (although I don't think it will do that well) and Bank Band next week (side project/band of Mr. Children's lead singer)

I'm not sure of all the releases out on the next few weeks before Koda's album, but the biggest artist I know is Tohoshinki. And they sold like 26,686 copies on the first week for their latest album.

CHEMISTRY's album will be released on the same day with Kingdom too though I don't know how big they are.

ayu is really great to maintain her carier better than other artist that debut in the same era as her...look at misia, mai kuraki, chemistry, ami suzuki, aiuchi rina...their sales has become so bad

Kingdom's sales will not be as high as BC but still it has a high chance of having above-than-average sales..

hmm and i think GUILTY will most probably outsell Secret.

for some reason I think kingdom will sell well...and might end up more than black cherry...I used to predict it ending up selling around (m)u...but seeing how all the 2008 albums are doing so well, it might sell better than expected. Plus look at the content!
