Ayu different on stage??

@emiko: You didn't really say anything new, so what you said could have been interpreted as talking about being more aggressive on stage (===> her image). If you don't like the lip synching conversation, go to another topic because it's not like there's much more to post regarding Ayu being different on stage, other than "yea her music's different now so of course she changed" or "she's matured". We already have a "does ayu look different now?" topic too for more recent Ayu changes discussion. =p

@Ayumi_lover: The first three are AT07 CDL0607 CDL0708 (in no particular order). Then after that you have AT06 AT05 CDL0506 CDL0405 and AT08 (only AT05 is DVD version). But erm yea, the main reason why I did that comparison was for the bridge, I just happened to paste the chorus after that. The bridge makes it like, really clear. The first three are incredibly high pitched and similar, while the others are in her live voice and different from eachother. For my ear it's easy to hear but I don't know about you so I don't mind. ^^ Kitto nandaka~thingy has differences in the live versions too, tho, if you listen closely. : D

You should then listen to Countdown 2003, when she had TRF with her.
She was sooo sick and horrible sounding, but she didn't lipsync in that concert.

In her early career there were many times where she sounded really bad I think due to overuse of her voice, and she still sounded horrible in her concerts in a row, and people still came. ahaha. It's all good~ but you could tell she didn't lipsync them either, but she was using in that time backing track cause she had no backup vocal peoples~

Melrose: I think you should chill out for a minute dude, LOL. No offense, but I've read a lot of your post in this thread, and you sound very stubborn and defensive. It doesn't look like you're going to agree with what anyone is going to say reguarding the subject, so I honestly don't see the point of continuing to talk about Ayu lip-syncing. Plus, even if there is another thread about "Ayu is different/changed", this is NOT a thread about Ayu lip-syncing. If you want to talk about it, go to the lip-syncing thread that's already been created. I don't think it's right for you to tell others to go somewhere else if they don't want to talk about a subject that is not on topic with this thread. Sorry if I sound rude, I don't mean to be at all.


Neo: I don't see Ayu as agressive, but rather as fierce. When I was watching AT07 I noticed how Ayu seemed to have so much confidence, a lot more than she's had in her previous years and concert tours. Maybe she just relates to her songs these days, better than she did in the past. Which happens to give her that glint in her eyes? That's how I see it ^_^

^I liked what you said about the confidence thing. I'm actually watching all of ayu's concerts in chronological order now except for CDL01-02 and 02-03 which i don't have and just finished AT03-04. Up to dome tour, i get the impression she was directed to do alot of the things she did. Mostly, she's giving that pageant smile to the audience, singing her piece, then costume change. In AT and ST 2002, A musuem and AT 03-04, there is a definite difference in her demeanour. She looks more natural doing those concerts, like she's in charge now. I think she had more creative control during AT2002 onwards.

I agree thst some perfomancers sound pretty similar but i still don't think that they were lypsynched

Exactly! And I think it's normal too. When she started, she wasn't used to being on stage so much, she hadn't performed and had as much knowledge and practice as she does now. The more concerts she did, the better she felt about being on stage, and I think through every year and concert tours, you can see the difference :3
