lacus --->i see , ithought you were talking about the percentage. yes the feedbacks are important , sadly sometimes people take advantage of it. its so unfair he gave you negative feedback even though he choose not to pay more on shipping and without contacting you. sadly buyers on ebay can be sometimes rude too.

douggn ---> i agree with you the price is an exellant idea of if ts a bootleg or not if the japanese cd is only 5 or 6 dollars brand new there is a problem somewhere . yes saying its a bootleg is not allow its like people that have fake purse and write " mirror image" or 100 percent real ( the bag cost over 2000$ but they resell it on ebay brand new as low as a 100 $.....)
yes people often buy bootleg knowing it ....its just sad....

Actually there are a lot of official avex products that have typos. The LOVEppears poster and the back cover to TRICK by Koda Kumi are among the many examples.

Anyway, please don't let this bad experience put you off eBay, as you can get some great AUTHENTIC deals (I got 7 Rina Aiuchi Japan press albums for $45), you just need to make sure the seller is trustworthy; always make sure the listing has pictures of the product, and if you're still unsure, ask them who the publisher is. I saw BoA's BEST OF SOUL album going cheap, but the listing had no pictures, so I asked what country the album was pressed in and by who, and they told me it was a Miya Records production. Miya Records = well known bootleg company. There was also another well known bootleg seller (Animecast) selling the same thing. You just need to do your research, basically.

I'm sorry to hear that you have bought a bootleg copy of A COMPLETE from ebay but like what the rest of the peeps have said , you shouldn't be put off from buying on their site in the future

you have to be extra careful & do a little bit more homework on a seller/item before you make your decision to purchase something & so far my ebay experiences have been pretty good & I have gotten some limited edition stuff off the net in which now if you were to get them , man they cost a BOMB !

*points to the 2 CDs limited edition of ARASHI's Time , 3 limited editions of KAT-TUN's DON'T U EVER STOP going at sky high prices now on ebay & those are Taiwan & not Japan presses @_@

If you haven't already opened a dispute with Paypal do it now!

Paypal takes fakes seriously, just state that you've become aware the item is counterfit and you will only settle for a full refund.

I had an issue with some GBA games and the seller never responded - I got my $50 back really quickly

If the eBay account is no longer there, Paypal will likely still refund the money on their behalf. They then send out debt collectors after the seller if they don't refund the amount to Paypal.

Wherever possible buy from HMV, YesAsia or CDJapan etc. eBay is an easy place to sell bootlegs, but there are some good sellers out there. Dora_ts7, article_ray, mindofjapan are all pretty good, a bit expensive but there are no bootlegs

I feel sorry for you and I can relate to you because I also had an experience in buying a bootleg. And it is so devastating. I hope you can refund your money. That seller will have his karma..

as i said and kendelle said paypal dispute is the best solution. i agree with kendelle paypal takes bootlegs ( for dvd cd ) and fakes ( handbag and goodies) very seriously. if he closed his account or was bannish by ebay for selling fakes you are most likely to win already.

( yes ebay is an easy place to sell fakes and sadly ebay is not very serious about tracking those ...that's why guys you shouldn't hesitate to report those seller that sell bootlegs , the more complains they get the higher chances are that the seller will have his account closed)

Luckily yes she sent the money back right away that day. After all she's also from my country. I told the seller that it was Miya Records and she said that she doesn't know about it. And I believe her.
