This was also discussed on "Kidd Kraddick In The Morning", but they pronounced her name "Nay-mee Amuro" lol. They also didn't seem to know along with the updated version the originals were also included. Kidd made a semi-racist joke "They had to change the title of the song to 'Rotterfalls'" lmao.

I don't really mean different as in different PV, more like the song. From the preview of Alive, it sounds like she needs someone in her life to keep her Alive and happy, but In The Spotlight, it sounded like her only need the dance floor and herself to be happy.

^At first I thought that because she didn't write the song, that fact means nothing. BUT she can choose the songs that she likes, so maybe she chose it for that reason.

I thought Alive was not as dance-y as In The Spotlight based on the current preview, it's like semi-trance and dance? Idk what you call that, with that kind of heavy beats dominating the chorus with an autotune, reminds me of Zedd song, Clarity as I said before.
Maybe the full version will differ but that's how Alive reminds me of so far

I love that promo.

I would be completely satisfied with a PV full of her face around the city. Although I'd be more satisfied if her face really was all over the city.

^ Hahah that tumblr person trusts the lyrics from TV News lol They got it wrong so many time, when 'Love Story' was first released they showed the last sentence as "Cause that's our love story" which is not correct at all lol

I think that it is indeed "I don’t wanna hang onto this love no more"

I must admit that I love the part of lyrics in Alive that go like "Rescue me my lover, kiss me back to life". I have no idea why. I'm really excited for Alive, and I like how LMLYG sounds, even though I'd prefer if it wasn't completely in English. Hands On Me and Heaven, on the other hand, I just completely dislike. Also, I like Can you feel this love because it's just all cutesy and happy. But still, I don't regret cancelling my preorder.

Namie was mentioned on Hot 995 here in DC and they were like "Left Eye's family is pissed a Japanese singer did the rap in the 20th anniversary edition." And played Namie's part so I wrote in explaining who she was and why she did the collab lol - I'm waiting to see if they say anything on the radio.

Namie mentioned in media outside of Japan is good news to me, even if it's something silly like that.

I'm not surprised by this at all actually. This whole fiasco was a major trending topic across various media and news sites believe it or not. I thought Namie's addition to the song was unnecessary (awful) but I personally don't think it was that big of a deal.

The various racist remarks I've seen were just downright . A lot of hip-hop enthusiasts are not happy about the collaboration and the fact that Lisa Lopes's family is not on board doesn't help either.

The good news is, many people are now curious about Namie's music and some of them actually like some of her songs despite being in Japanese.

Like everything else in the news, this will blow over soon enough.

^lol the 20th anniversary edition of TLC's 'waterfalls' - Namie collaborated and sang Left Eye's part - I'd post the clip but I'm at work and can't do it from my phone

Anyway I guess they're mad that Namie's Engrish in the song ruined Left Eye's part - according to Left Eye's family - I think it's dumb tho - anyway I had to go in to work before I could wait and hear if they mentioned the topic again
