A COMPLETE sales prediction

I'm guessing around 400k or less. It's a pretty expensive release and it comes only a year after A BEST 2, I can only see it being bought by collectors and really dedicated fans.

Responding to jbrat2219. I think avex doesn't really care. Unlike Johnny who makes sure all his top boys get the top spot. Like how they released 12 kumi singles in 12 weeks. Madness. Anyway it would have been over a month since best fiction when a complete comes out and ayu would also have some exposure from a-nation. Let's just hope for the best.

^None. ayu is almost guaranteed to reach the top spot. Her competitor for this week are very weak (provided that BF doesn't enjoy a large increase in sales next week)

Yeah which proves that avex is very profit-oriented as opposed to oricon charting oriented. So talk that avex buys ayu's albums and singles to get her a no. 1 spot is quite riduculous. It makes no economic sense. I feel this release has all the right songs to get her a million and yes i know it's all her 43 singles. So they happen to be the right songs. I just think that way.

I think this is better than A BEST 2, there's all the important songs of all her 43 singles and a really good conten in the DVD.

Is the perfect compilation for people who dosnt have anything or not so much from ayu, even people who aren't fans will buy it i think, is a good price for what it is and you have a lot of materioal from THE artist ayumi hamasaki..

but well i now is not sure, for me this is like, the value of A COMPLETE, what i think this best album should sell... is 900.1million...

I voted for the 400 - 500k.
I think it is awesome that Ayu is having an album out for her 10th anniversary.But i also think with two A BEST 2 being released last year that it might harm sales.OK us fans will buy it but the casual fan or listener of Ayu who got A BEST last year might not want to buy another one this year.

But the thing is, it's not expensive. For what it is anyway. For 3 CDs, 44 songs, a Live DVD, a photo book, and a box, it's actually pretty cheap.

yeah exactly~ it's only about $15 USD in taiwan for CD+DVD, and CD is only $3 less...and that's about the same price as a regular album, i got namie's BF CD+DVD for about $13....so A COMPLETE is really cheap! but i'm talking OS presses, but still~

Haha yeah OS presses don't count toward oricon. It should though! Then ayu's sales will be through the roof. Like united world charts for say amy winehouse. Do they count worldwide sales? Or only american press sales?
