Not expecting a #1 (Arashi's definitely getting that), but I hope she can make a top five, and maybe start a career like Ayu or Ayaka does - she's just getting started here...

Well, unfortunately, it's not in the top five - or even the top ten - it's starting out on #13, and surprisingly the two-week-old ikimono-gakari single "Arigatou" is a bit ahead on #12...

(Of course, Arashi's #1! Maybe people were mistaken that Sayuri's single would release last week but it would be pushed back into this week...)

And, also, does anyone have any higher quality images of these photos?






EDIT: 2nd day update: Fell to #16! What's going on with her right now?

We're in a digital revolution where people download songs, not buy physical releases, especially when there is nothing special added to the single, but remember that Arashi's "inflated" sales is because you can't get them through iTunes or such and/or there is a very large fanbase...

I actually converted myself from FLAC to MP3, so maybe in the future I could be taking responsibility of it, especially when I've got an Intel Core i7-powered computer that has enough headroom to convert FLAC to MP3!
