I don't think the Japanese public cares for this type of girl group at all in general, so. I'd be really surprised if anyone truly thought they'd be highly successful there.
They aren't even that cute...And they certainly aren't cute by Japanese standards either. They're in a weird place lol

I'm interested to see their solo activities.

I just listened to the album. It's an ok album, nothing special but catchy pop music. Did anybody else listened to it?

I was scrolling down on my instagram feed and randomly saw FAKY being sponsored and thought that was amusing. I listened to the small clip and it was a lot better than I remember them being so I checkout out their video later and I've been really enjoying their newer song Candy. I'm not surprise this thread died out in 2014 but figured I'd bump it up.
I think the girls need to work on their dancing though (Some a better than others), especially that blonde in the group, she dances (moves) so uninspiring, doesn't hit those beats hard. Anyway I'm glad they're getting some promotion here even if it is on instagram. The song is good

Oh, totally forgot FAKY had a thread here, lol.
They actually had sort of a small hiatus and came back last year with 3 new songs ( Afterglow, You and Candy -only on asian streaming sites though). They got reconsructed. 2 members of the old FAKY left (Tina and Diane) and 1 new is in (Akina). They released PVs for all three new songs in the last months and now finally there's coming an EP on iTunes with the three comeback and 2 new songs!  FAKY Digital E.P. "CANDY" Available on 2016.05.24 ※iTunes Pre-Order from 2016.05.11 1. Pretty 2. Afterglow 3. Are You OK? 4. You 5. Candy 6. Better Without You -Retake Version- ※Album purchase only track on iTunes A digital booklet is included as well. The great thing is, they're still marketed internationally - their site and their line is done in Japanese and English. They also collaborated with FEMM on Sak Noel's "No Boyfriend" in Japanese and that's also where the new unit FAMM'IN comes from. I personally like them better now, even though I listened to them since the beginning. All three new songs are great. My fave is Afterglow and the PV for it is also really interesting.

After their first major physical release (Unwrapped EP) in June, Faky released a new digital single not long ago.
The title is 'Suga Sweet' and they released a PV for it today: They also start their own radio show called '#realFAKY'. It will be aired on FM yokohama every Monday at midnight, starting from October 2nd. You can ask them questions via Twitter through the hasthag #realFAKY.

Three new dance songs were announced some time ago already.

Second single of the project, Antidote, coming October 18!
 GIRLS GOTTA LIVE is a success! It broke 1 million views on youtube within the first two weeks and stands at around 1.5 million views right now. They also were guests at the BPM music show on Abema TV!
