I think A BEST 3 will be reserved for her 20th anniversary, because this release is going to be called A BEST LIVE, I don't think they would release 2 different A BEST's in one year

Um, the 10 anny version songs were pretty good. Showed how much her voice changed in a good way.

It was in 2008 (April for Depend on You + YOU, September for Who... and December for TO BE + LOVE ~Destiny~).

Days, Sunrise ~LOVE is ALL~ (did almost million digital downloads), Together When... You were..., JEWEL and to some extent how beautiful you are, MOON, crossroad, Virgin Road, You & Me. The main hits are Days, Sunrise and Together When... but then before hand it's not like each single/promo song she had sold million legal downloads or 500,000s+ physically.
This number of hits are more than most would have in a best album, that doesn't mean it will be successful though. It could go BoA way (and BoA had Everlasting, Do The Motion and Winter Love on it) ayu has a more solid fanbase though but it might interest mainly the fanbase rather than other general public like the 2 first A BESTs and A COMPLETEs that all sold more than the original albums of the respective years, hell A COMPLETE did better than the album of its year and the one a year and a half before and that's after ayu's biggest hits were used on the A BESTs and A BALLADS. With A BEST 3 though, avex will have to make people's interest raise, ayu will have to work on another hit if it will be possible for her to buy some public interest again or they will just have to do something that will make it work and ayu needs to do her own music-wise (if she even cares... it seems like she likes original albums way more herself lol), if not then A BEST 3 sales will just be lower or close to around 100,000 or LOVE again's sales tops of the tops.

Maybe ayumisreal will have a definitive answer for this, but, if I remember correctly, the original A BALLADS underperformed in sales, right?

That said, I was totally down for A BALLADS II when she released Love songs. Who knows? maybe another ballad collection (complete with TK compositions!) will hit the right nostalgia beats and rebuild some goodwill between the Ayu brand and the average J-pop consumer?

I also really, really want a studio cover of "haru yo koi." I'd be down for a cover album, too.
