Exactly. I'll never understand why people will spend like $50+ dollars on one cd when there's going to a much cheaper version of the album coming soon.

Yeah I haven't bought the Japanese version of anything before 2008 since I learned of OS versions lol.

Unless of course there is no OS version, then I just get my parents to buy it

same for me , I only go for Japan presses only if there're no OS presses

I prob will be getting TRICK when the Taiwan press's out , I don't think I wait for stupid Warner to bring it or produce it here locally

i do it because i make good money and i want to actually support my favorite artist during their first week on the oricon?

i agree and also because i can only switch the region on my DVD player 5 times and it's set on region 2 and OS DVDs are region 3 and most of my other stuff is region 2 and then i wouldn't be able to change it so the money i'd spend would be useless.

besides OS packaging is made of cheaper plastic and the cases smash way easier and the paper quality of the booklets is cheaper (at least that's what i've heard from a bunch of people who have some JPN press and OS press)

I agree. That's why I prefer Japan presses.
Besides, I rather spend my money on good quality stuff anyway.

Your computer DVD player? Just use VLC Media Player, you can play any region with it.

oh yeah i forgot about that. it'd look really bad bc i have all my cds with the obis on them with the spine sticking out (like books lol)

In 2008, it was Ayu's anniversary so I went all out and bought the Japanese press of almost everything and was happy to see I contributed, but I can't afford to do that all the time -_-;.... So if you're place is taking any applications, holla at me
