UVERworld announce new single release

UVERworld have announced that they will release a new single titled "I LOVE THE WORLD" on August 26.

This announcement was made on July 21 by TAKUYA∞ (Vo) during the first day of their nationwide tour "UVERworld LIVE TOUR 2015" at TSUTAYA O-EAST. On this day, UVERworld held a "Battle of the Bands" type concert with AIEMU, who they have been friends with since their indie days.

During a MC segment, TAKUYA∞ expressed, "This is awesome. Our lives have to be like this in order for us to have fun. I am very happy. We are able to have a live with AIEMU who we have been working with since 13 years ago. Thirteen years ago, there were only about 10 people watching us, but there are so many people gathered here today." Towards the end of the live, he announced, "I don't think I'm allowed to say this, but we will release a single next month."

"I LOVE THE WORLD" comes about 3 months since their single "Boku no Kotoba Dewa Nai Kore wa Bokutachi no Kotoba" was released in May. More details will be revealed at a later date.

Barks English - UVERworld announce their new single on the first day of their 10th anniversary tour

UVERworld celebrated the 15th anniversary of the band’s formation in June and the 10th anniversary of their major debut in July. They held a joint concert with AIEMU at Shibuya TSUTAYA O-EAST on July 21. They announced the released of their 28th single at the show.

UVERworld and AIEMU were friends even before their major debuts and were playing together since 13 years ago. During the middle of the show, vocalist TAKUYA ∞ said, “This is great. Our concerts have to be like this or they are no fun. I’m super happy. We’re playing a show with AIEMU who we’ve been playing with for 13 years. We only had about 10 people at our shows 13 years ago, but now there are so many of you.”

At the end of the show, he said, “Maybe I’m not supposed to tell you yet, but we will release a single next month”.

Details of the release are still unknown, but it will be titled “I LOVE THE WORLD” and will be released on August 26.

UVERworld's new single picked up as theme song for 'Dragon Nest'

UVERworld's new single "I LOVE THE WORLD" has been picked up as the theme song for the online action game 'Dragon Nest'.

'Dragon Nest' is an online action game by Hangame. It's been 5 years since Hangame started offering its services. As such, they have undergone a major renewal with the concept "to go back to the roots of action". UVERworld's TAKUYA∞ (Vo) commented, "The concept this time is 'to go back to the roots,' and we are a band that formed through our love for music. Although this is our 15th year, we are continuously carrying out our activities while enjoying music."

UVERworld will release "I LOVE THE WORLD" on August 26th. As a privilege, the limited edition will enclose a serial code to obtain a 'Dragon Nest' limited edition item.
