Well that's unfortunate, but not unexpected. I bet she learned her lesson about taking care of her health from this. =(

I wonder how it's going to affect her career if she can only hear in one ear, especially since there are certain nuances you can only hear with both ears. (Kinda like periphereal vision) I'm sure it will be fine, though. I am surprised that I went through 17 pages and didn't see a single "Well that explains why her music sucks so much lately" post. *rolls eyes*

one thing u should know, ayu had this ear problem back then on Dome Tour 2001, that is 6 years ago.

and also, IMO ayu's music is NEVER sucks.

I agree too, but maybe that´s why her live performances lastly were not too good. Anyways, when I readed these news I was shocked like the most fans here, and I felt a lot of sadness but now I´m feel proud to be an Ayu-fan too, she´s really strong.

I don't know why she didn't want to tell her staff or even her mother. Taking the burden all by herself, oh my, I have even MORE and MORE respect for her as an artiste! She's amazing, I don't know anyone who can be so strong even upon news like that. Can you imagine, even with a situation like that she's still doing PVs, smiling for the camera and taking magazine shoots? It really pains me that she had went through such a struggle without anyone knowing.

Actually even before you posted that I remembered those lyrics. These lyrics have got to be my favourite. Ironically another of my faves are from No More Words but whatever, these I take to heart. (And I thank Ayu for that ^^ )

I agree with you Ani_C. Those are some beautiful lyrics, and really goes with what ayu's feeling right now. Tough when i wrote my message to her, the lyrics that came to my mind were "No rain, can't get the rainbow" from RAINBOW. Cause i'm sure ayu will go through this. I have so much hope on her and i know she won't lose her right ear, cause she just doesn't deserve it.
