i just watched this file posted up by LeButler. the song is so beautiful! i loved it instantly. i wish this song was on an ayu album. her vocal performance was so good, it fits the song perfecty. and it has no squeaks in it!

also, ayu's hair looked so great, it looked smooth as silk! it is amazing!

I agree. I thought it was much better than Sotsugyou sashin. It would have been awesome if she had put Haru yo koi on A Ballads instead.

It was sung originally by Yumi Matsutoya. I prefer Ayu's version though

It was done by Matsutoya Yumi (download thread updated with mp3) and sold over 1 million copies, though I much prefer the way Ayu sings it live.

The video is vocally almost flawless yet still kept all of her voice's distictinveness (vibrato/squeeks/softness), truly great. I don't know why but the little pause 2/3rds of the way through is my favourite bit.

Nah, i liked Yuming performance on it better. Actually, i found Ayu's performance on her first Music Fair to be so-so. It would've been great if she wasnt so nasally (especially on the Tokyo song)

Ayu's version is okay, but I personally like Yuming's better as well. I tend to be partial to the original artist of a song.. dunno why.
