Unhappy Remembering UTADA.... ''M.I.A.''

I've been told MIA means... miss in action... hehe so... i thinks it goes with this thread...

having said that.... what's ur opinion on what's going on with UTADA lately... i dun hear (see) news on her that much... or ppl uploading stuff from her... the new asianfans might not even know who is utada...anymore....IMO... and i dun think of utada as i did.. before... plus i dun care about her entrance to the usa market... cause it went really wrong... i'm starting to forget about her.. and she's loosing a lot of.. mmh.. power in japan IMO!!! cause i mean.. Namie is going really strong.. plus other artists.. that r doing really well!.. so..

What do u think? do u remember Utada? do u still lover her?

I really want new stuff by her as I really enjoyed all of her last works. The fact that she isn't exposing herself lately does make me forget her but then I end up thinking of her again and I get a bit anxyous awaiting for a new release.

Hehehe... Hikaru Utada seem to be M.I.A ,but nut UTADA because she's quite busy with her stuff in U.S. Anyway, "Exodus '04" is gonna release as a single. I had read before sume where that she's also actually makin' another new Japanese single. No? Maybe that's "Exodus '04"...

^ that's what i've heard about the new summer jpop album
hopefully the "exodus" single will be out soon ...
that is second most decent song from the album other than 'Kremlin Dusk'
well because it's Utada Hikaru...everything from her in Japan will do good in sale

Damnit! I jost wish that she make "Kremlin Dusk" as single because it's way much kick ass than "Exodus '04". I bet everyone agree 'bout this too. Anyway, who knows that her 3rd U.S single gonna be "Kremlin Dusk" then i guess by then she can be really be well-known in U.S. Yay! Hehehe... Anyway, i've kinda forget her till MikAYuko mention it now because Hamasaki Ayumi, Amuro Namie and Nakashima Mika can kinda ease her name off easily. I still really love Hikaru Utada, but nut much for Utada. I dun't know. *Shrug* Honestly, i really wanna tell Hikaru Utada go back to Japan to do more new songs to kick ass then stayin' in U.S dofin' rubbish...

she's busying uh.... doing commercials for Nintendogs. Check out the full body Hikki = =;;;

then theres' the clubbing, reading more about salt, and crashing at the studio.

But the Exodus single is getting a little late though.

Yeah I really can't wait to hear new material from hikki. A while back in one of her online messages she talked how she was working on a song, but didn't mention if it was in Japanese or American. But that means we should at least be getting one brand new single if not a brand new album.

Personally, I really, really, really hope she makes another jpop album for summer AND another American album cause Exodus is so good. Now that I've heared both of her different sides, I really can't be satisfied with just sticking to one. So yea, basically hope she keeps pursuing her American career without giving up on the jpop scene.

Oh and here's the cover for the 12" vinyl release of Exodus '04 as a single. This might change for the CD release though cause , while she looks really pretty on it, its very minimal and simple. Its being released on MAY 17th! Almost here!

Cover: (carefull, it's big)

http://www4.islanddefjam.com/media/u...us04_cover.jpg

Tracklist:

(this'll probebly change for the CD release cause there were 11 confirmed remixes and for some reason this doesn't have the original version lol)

A1. JJ Flores Double J Extended Remix (5:58)
A2. JJ Flores Dub #1 (5:35)
B1. Peter Bailey Dub (8:11)
C1. Kriya vs Velez Electro House Mix (7:46)
C2. Kriya vs Velex Progressive Trance Mix (6:49)
D1. JJ Flores Dub #2 (9:04)

Oh on another random note, here's a pic of her in a club not too long ago...

She needs a break to be herself. While she's at it, she looks like she's getting some inspiration for some songs. Just let her be for a while. It's tough waiting, but when the waiting is over with, she'll probably release one good arse single and album I think she just wants to be away from Japan a while and be at her hometown NY.

I think Utada's like an underdog. She's out of the spotlight, and then when she releases something, everyone grabs it! Haha, but I don't think I'll forget Utada. I think she's a spectacular singer and I really hope she releases some J-pop soon!

Yar, but I'm kind of sad she's been missing in action all these while. She really needs to work! Or is she planning to have children? Haha, only time will tell!

Okie Dokie, here are my thoughts...Anyone remember JoJo's debut in America? Okay, her music video was on constant air for days until many people recognized her...And apparently for Utada's music video, Easy Breezy, it was NEVER on air on MTV America...this just shows that MTV only supported her for that breif 3 minute preview of her. MTV Should have played her music video constantly because that song is very american...except for "Japanese-y" And also, she released her single right before election time, which was bad because it was the time when people voted, not caring about a new artist...so this could be why MTV never aired her video...they were doing the gay "VOTE 20 MILLION!"

Her CD may not be known but at the end of the day, it still pulled in major profits to IDJ thank to the Asian market.

Also, its worthy to mention that its pretty much IDJ's fault that the CD' unkown here. The promotion was practically none-existant.

I just thought that since she hasn't had her debut, the one in NYC, they didn't promote, but I still thought they should've regardless...
