Well first of all i have no idea about ayu's song's being written in different cases.
secondly, her name. The name "Ayu" is used by her fans. it's what her fans call. like a nicname basically. Ayumi Hamasaki is her actual name of course. This is all the basic stuff but the way u write about it, it sounds more than that. like there's another side of ayu no one has ever heard of, or something like that. But that's a very interesting theory, gohan

Wow I never really gave this much thought. I just thought the songs were titled on however the guys felt like writing them, like some form of engrish, haha. They way her name is spelt I think is practically the same. If they are all in caps they may be trying to emphasize something, but I don't really think so. It's just different ways to write different things in my opinion.

I never thought about so much in depth about the song names.. just thought it would be pretty to type it some way or another.. good thoughts. Intresting points. Are you a philosophy major?
..and I once saw connected spelled like this => c.o.n.n.e.c.t.e.d Wonder if that meant anything... |

Ayu has a way of doing that.. huh? Her lyrics always have this way to move me someway. It's all very beautiful. I suppose I like it because.. sometimes, if its a depressing song, and I just want to hear a song I like.. Without knowing the real words. Know what I mean? I don't know Japanese, so I have a benifit-of-a-doubt-ish thing whenever I just want to hear something that just goes with my mood.
But when reading her lyrics.. I relate to them and it helps me think that I'm never really alone with much. I'm glad I was able to find these boards, finding other people who feel the same way about things like this. I always got from my Non-Ayu-fans friends "You're too obsessed with her." When I'm just listening to her music a lot and reading her lyrics to help me pull myself out of a down period of life. She's sings a lot of ballads. It just proves that no one is always happy. People have down points. And everything must come to an end..

What a past with Ayu..
The first song of Ayu's I heard was "M (Above & Beyond Mix)" I'm a huge DDR fan, even bigger back then, and I found this song as a DWI file. (DWI - Dance with Intensity... DDR using the keyboard arrows to "dance") Anyways.. I went on my vaction to Vietnam and made a CD with DWI songs I had. I reluctantly put M on there. And ironically, I fell in love with the song. And when I cam back.. I DLed as many Ayu songs I could find. That's where I found "evolution" and things started to go from 2 songs from Ayu to almost all her songs.. I decided to look up some stuff online about Ayu and I found sites with her pictures. I thought she was an attractive woman. So I found more pics... but then I started to wonder what her songs were about. That's when I started to read some of her lyrics. When I first read the lyrics to M.. I almost cried. The last line got me the most. I couldn't believe such words were sung so beautifully. I always appriciated another poet's work. And I adored Ayu's. And everything.. sort of lead up to now. I still adore Ayumi's lyrics and I like the changes I see in her. In her words. She's matured as a poet. And that's beautiful. She maybe hidden behind a "cutesy image" but she's matured. I can see and I can feel it. I suppose taking her seriously to that extent might me a bit too far. But to each they're own. I think of her as another human being on this planet. She is here just like the rest of us. And she's using her power to spread her thoughts, her mind, and her heart to the world. We all do that. But on much small amounts. So if you take Ayu seriously to that extent.. it'd be safe to take people that seriously too. Or else.. you might just have too high of expectations of people and that way.. you'll be let down. And being let down too much, needless to say, is a bad thing. I'm just throwning my two cents into it. Sorry if it was not my place or if I overstepped some lines.

I dunno if it's been answered in the posts... too long to read and I'm short of time~
But... Is it true? That Ayumi Hamasaki isn't just one person? She's actually 3 people...? I'm so confused and... yea, confused o.o; |

No, she's just one woman. We were more talking about several Ayu's in a schizo way. Not really of course, but well... just read it carefully. Gohan explained it all pretty well in the first post.

Hm,
Those sure are deep thoughts I also start thinking of all sorts of crap whenever I get way to bored. Some existance thoughts and such. As for case letters don't bother to think about thiose. All japanese singers have diferent letters for each song. It confused me a bit too at the begining but now I am fine with it. I think that all capital letters express determination...
