J-Rock~Your Thoughts About It

I love Jrock!! Antic Cafe are good and I love NIGHTMARE - I usually just love normal Jrock - Gackt - HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR - UVERworld - BUCK-TICK - L'Aarc-en-Ciel and Miyavi which doesn't include that much visual-kei
However I love the Visual-kei style and how the bands dress up but I have to listen to more visual-kei influenced music to get a reaction from people

I don't really see any reason to be flat out disgusted by Jrock. I'm not a big fan of Rock in general, but most of the Jrock I've heard (granted, that isn't much) has been decent.

I barely listen to Jpop any more because of all the Jrock. I'm usually open to trying new bands, but some of my more favourites are stuff like Dir en grey, MUCC, Merry, Plastic Tree, Kalimero, Kagrra. I'm not a fan of oshare-kei, though x_x

I went through a J-Rock phase for awhile and I still like some of it, there just isn't much that catches my ear these days. I'm not really into the whole visual band thing either since I'd prefer good music over good hair and makeup. When I talk to J-Rock fans I meet, a lot of them seem to have a really elitist attitude towards J-Pop and that really turns me off. Obviously the ones on AHS aren't like that since you all like Ayu

IM a big fan if Jrock..i love the fashion and the music...im a fan of (the) Gazette, REITA!!!!!!!!! *dies*
Miyavi (he was jrock...(kinda still is haha..though his newer stuff isnt as hard core as his older stuff)

I hate people who just look at them like they are stupid just becuase of the way they dress and how they look..

Some people can be very mean and dont even care. People used to laugh at me becuase I would bring my Gothic Lolita magazine with all these guys in it...though they all thought they were girls >.<!
