Nah I think MISIA will clearly beat Rina, but just saying Rina is the only slight competition for #3. Since it's a best of album and all. Then again, Rina's first greatest hits sold rather poorly, only 157k back in 03-04, so Rina may be lucky to get top 10 again.

Looks like this single will be making it to the top 10 (the last one was royal chocolate flush at #10) despite the early announcement of her upcoming album i'm quite positive it will sell more 約束の翼 (currently her best selling post eighth world single) this is a good sign for her upcoming album

Well, misia wasn't that bad with sales. Ascension sold 127,768 as you had mention while Eighth World sold 131,635. Both album sold around 70k in the first week. Consistency is the key here. If Just Ballade is able hold its own against her past two work (which i think is possible due to the success of Aitakute Ima and the upcoming single Hoshi no Yō ni...), it would be a feat for her

I'm going to say the new album will sell 300,000. I know its a little high- but there is hope. This is her first major hit in quite some time- plus its being released during the holiday season.
