No, it hasn't been out long at all. It seems long because here at AHS we've talked about little else for the past five days. The news actually broke on January 4th. It makes perfect sense. I give til the 5th or 6th until the press actually started making a huge deal about it. Monday, the day the jump to #1 was made, was the 7th. Timeline seems about right to me.

I have a feeling GUILTY might not get #1 this week....looking at the daily chart, it looks like GUILTY is decreasing in sales more than kobukuro. Ayu will have a chance if GUILTY somehow have a sales boost. If she ends up at #2 or #3, its still awesome =D I think the sales will be over 500k after this week...which is very good!

I sure hope GUILTY will get #1 but I think the same like you...
I hope it can somehow get boost in sales but at this point it looks a bit impossible but I guess we have to wait and see.
I think it will take 2 week until it will sell over 500,000 though.

I think its possible to go over 500k by the end of this week. She already sold 432,113 copies plus the estimated 29,434 in the last 2 days...so basically she needs to sell 38,453 copies by the end of this week and its definitely not hard to do. I wonder if it can actually sell over secret....

I really believe Ayu has a chance to make it to #1 this week. Kobukuro is still a major threat, and MISIA to a lesser degree, but I have faith in this.
