oiii and JE really needs to do something about albums. It's weird how their singles keep doing better while albums keep doing worse...I don't really think fangirls not affording it is a big problem cause it's not exactly cheap being a JE fan.(look how well live dvds sell! and those are overpriced like hale)
It's just that albums probably are not a priority cause the content sucks. Like come on the dvd content for KAT-TUN Ⅲ -QUEEN OF PIRATES- was so brutal ;-; At least add 5 pages or so of pretty pictures in the booklet or something..

I felt a bit cheated when I got the CD + DVD of QOP . I was shocked that there weren't any pics inside the sleeves

Albums - yeah, JE really needs to promote them A LOT more. i mean, -QoP- has to be my favorite JE Original Album ever and it can't even sell equivalent to their single's first week overall! but i do think in general, JE albums are very weak. sadly, not a lot of album tracks can live up to the singles.

seriously QOP's amazing & the fact that it's the 1st JE album I listened to , it makes it even more special . The non singles on QOP are really something & it sucks that it didn't sell as well as their 1st 2 albums

& oh earlier on I was checking the lyrics of LOVEJUICE in the 2nd LE of DUES which came today

LOL. i remember reading somewhere he wrote it in Japanese first? but decided to switch it over to English due to a friend's opinion. i don't remember where i read that from though, haha. but i think Jin's written most, if not all, of his solos.

but my favorite Jin solo will always be "Murasaki"

yeah, it's quite unfortunate -QoP- sold the way it did, but i'm personally glad the material is better than their previous effort(s). -QoP- really embodies the group's growth as musicians and as people over the past year, in my opinion.

It took me a while to take Best of KAT-TUN a liking but it took me a few listens to get hooked onto QOP instantly .

Not planning to get their 2nd album though it's really messy & as much as I hate to say this but the only standout songs on the 2nd album are the 2 singles

Seriously, if JE did a good promotion, every NEWS, Arashi and KAT-TUN's album would reach 450~500k.

The same happens with singles' second week. Their drops are really big.

yeah, i do think JE should take heart in album promotion too. but i guess JE groups will always be single/DVD selling units. i think the single drops are fine, they usually have longevity with the tie-ins and other promotion. "Keep the faith" did well overall.

Karen, i think a lot of us feel the same way about cKTIIY, but i think it's a collector's item if you get the First Press of the Regular Edition. i really cherish the 2nd disc a lot since a lot of songs that didn't make Best of KAT-TUN. "No Matter Matter" is a concert favorite.

well, ye old KAT-TUN fans like me appreciate the 2nd disc, LOL. like i said, it's a collector's item. i admit to randomly playing "Peaceful days" and doing the whole K-A-K-A-K-A-T-T-T-U-N thing in the song. "LOVE or LIKE" was also my jam back in 2005 also. i love their Junior songs a lot. make me nostalgic. XD

oh yeah, Junno-bear also wore blue contacts too. i loved how he really got into his role. IF JIN DID THAT, HE WOULD'VE GOTTEN PINK HAIR.

In some of those songs, it didn't sound like the present them,

yeah, i don't think they re-recorded the versions, if they did it would've been Jin-less AND THAT'S A NO-NO! i recognized Kame's Junior voice too. he sounds so much better now, imo! haha. it was a little bit sharper back then.

i noticed that too! i was confused if it was Granmarie or Granmanie for a while. x_x;; but yeah, i think it's Granmanie.

i would've liked a wig too! OR pink streaks. hehe. ^^ like Teppei in Dragon Zakura.

That's why I'm not planning to listen to their 2nd album again but at least I adore their 1st & 3rd albums & also all the singles that they have put out so far so that's not so bad
