「Days」 DISCUSSION!

I don't think this song sounds ANYTHING like "Close to you", if anything, the arrangement is a lot more similar to "Part of me" (H/\L, as always -.-).

However, I think that the generic H/\L arrangement works in this song, and something about it is VERY good. Maybe it's the composition, or her voice, but something really works, despite the arrangement. I love it.

i love this ballad soooo much more than life or together when...(i'm just giving some examples, lol). it sounds a bit generic, but maybe that's why i love it? i love ayu's ballads the most sometimes. and this is one of those times

I know!! I woke up today for class and saw that it was snowing outside and got all excited to go out and walk to class in the snow while listening to Days! It was perfect!

I think it's a nice winter ballad though... It may not be her best, but I feel it fits the season. It's......... "appropriate."

I have not been too thrilled about her recent music lately to be honest. The last time I truly "felt" a connection to the music was probably "Together when..." but that's it? I just feel she's lost her spark with that music that truly hits the heart or makes me happy or sad or w/e. But finally "Days" has brightened my sprits, I feel the old Ayu in there and it made me tear up a bit. I love this song, and the holiday season makes it even more enjoyable. I'm extremely pleased & I hope she continues making great music!

This song is quite simple like many have said. It's a generic winter ballad, but a beautiful one. It does remind me of momentum, but Days has more that "cute simple Ayu" vibe to it, which I love I'm very pleased with this single!

I love days It's the perfect winter ballad for me this year that I've been waiting for. Ayu stole the cake Sorry Kumi.

The performance of SEASONS+Days was REALLY good, IMO. Especially Days. Ayu's vocals are still going strong!

Both the song and PV were very touching. Days exceeded my expectations... to be honest I thought it was going to be your typical run of the mill ballad. How wrong I was. I absolutely love the composition...the way the guitar comes in at the beginning just blew me away. The instrumental playing in the background really gives it that winter time feel. As for the PV I think Ayu's acting in it was very natural. The PV flowed very well and it was definitely easier to follow and less random than GREEN. I might even go as far as to say both Days PV and song are better than GREEN. They both make for a kick ass single even though I definitely prefer Days now. Probably one of her most satisfying singles in a very long time. I was very moved listening to and watching this PV...it's been a long time since a jpop song made me feel like that.

It seems some people find it just plain dull and others (like myself) can't seem to get enough of it. Seriously, the more I listen to this, the more I really see how this is EXACTLY the song I have been hoping for from Ayu regarding a winter ballad for YEARS. It's simply perfect. I just listened to it outside at night and it just blew me away with the snow and the whole atmosphere. I love it. I really love it!
