The second one is better in terms of like...how she holds each note. Flows better. But she misses some stuff.

I heard once that when they sing on TV on Japan, they need to pay the music composer royalities, so... they make it shorter so the performace is "cheaper"... Hikki composes her own melodies and lyrics, so, she doesn't have to pay... But I don't know if this is true...

I always thought it was because of like, air time you know, they shorten it so that it doesn't take up so much time, and then if they have other artists performing too you know...so the whole show fits.

But that would make sense too...because I didn't think these shows were any more special than like Popjam or music station...yet the performances are so long...who knows lol

Yeah... she sings full version on every single live (MS, MF, Utaban, HEY!³, CDTV, etc.). I think it's special to hikki

Yeah, I love how unlike other artists, Utada never shortens her songs. Guess that's what happens when you go into "Goddess Mode" as she says.

I still think Hikki would insist on performing full songs, it's just not in her nature to cut her songs in half I think. I'm glad she doesn't
