What's up with avex and the new PV?

It seems like they haven't done anything to get it on music channels.

The PV only started airing on Space Shower TV on the 15th, which is just 2 days before the single release.

And a hard copy file of the PV is nowhere to be found for download, as far as I know. :/

Maybe they have something planned in secret or something, who knows. If they can pull some strings, we might even see DAI get #1 on one day or something on the Daily chart.

So I listened to the full single. The standout track is definitely the A-side song.

Uma (the title is really long, I'll just call it Uma) : Simply beautiful. *__* I love it. <3

Meramera : A very fun party-ish pop rock song. I love the upbeat feeling and funky-ness of it.

Timeless : It's good, but I don't like it as much as Meramera. It's just missing something that could make it better. *unsure what that something is right now, hmm...*

Let's get together at a-nation : Too much auto-tone in the song. It's too Nakata-ish, lol. And yeah, I agree, it's really sound like girl group, Perfume. o_O; It's an okay song, but I don't think I would play it over and over again. :/

^ I pretty much agree with your review. Although I must say, the live version of MeraMera that I saw had more edge and blew this recorded funky version out of the water. I was a little disappointed with it, even if it's still good.

Let's get together at a-nation... I hope this is a one time thing for the sake of experimentation. As much as I like Perfume, I really hate autotune in general, and it sounds AWFUL with Tomiko's voice.

But as a whole, just having a new DAI single makes me happy!

Totally thought I was listening to some random electropop person instead of Tomiko in "at a-nation".

Infinity 1 is #7 on the Oricon daily charts. Eh listening to the single I can see why it got position it got. Amazing A-side with MERA MERA being good and the rest is ok and just plain bad.

Do Creative! 1st phrase result is out, and these songs are going to be in the new album

The producers are SHINPEI, Yosuke Kawashima, and Yu.

The first phrase has 1000 songs from Japan, US, Canada, etc.


A new song titled 最後のGAME will be included in new album.
