Overall, the two biggest groups of the summer were SNSD, followed by the Brown Eyed Girls.

I would say that SNSD, 2NE1 and BEG were all really popular this summer.
2NE1 more than the rest.
Overall popularity to SNSD (especially because of "Gee").
I thought KARA would be more popular though...
Jewelry is about to make a comeback, so we never know!

Gee was much earlier than that. It started in January. Though it was still going on way after their goodbye special.

Yeah, "Gee" was in January and the popularity carried on for a long time.
This is why I wrote overall popularity, meaning for 2009 so far.
