I was very surprised with the title of Sexy Little Things but I really want to see the result! I think that could be a kind of evolution of our dearest Ayu^^

I don't know if anybody posted this info here on AHS, but I just found it on JPM:

It was in the casting call in London, where they searched for actors in her new PV and they said:" We are searching for people who will act in a PV of japanese Singer Ayumi Hamasaki, the Song is not a typical japanese Pop/Rock Song, it has a british flair in it"

Don't know where it's coming from exactly though.

Don't know what that means either. What is a british flair? If I'm thinking about british music, alternative bands like Franz Ferdinand pop up in my head.

Yeah, I said over there on JPM that it came from Baidu aka a very shady place a la 2ch... (once in an old post, and once again in a new post that I quoted the old post in)

I think I also mentioned it here in the London thread but I don't really think they knew anything about the songs that were going to be used in the videos. I guess we'll see when the songs come out with the PVs.

Gaga-Ayumi or not, she (Lady Gaga) is probably the hottest performer at the moment, I'm sure alot of other artists take inspiration from her as well, not only Ayu.

I never really understood why some of her best / most expensive PV's are for ALBUM tracks instead of for singles..

Rainbow, Jewel, My Name's WOMEN (well at least not A-side single), Marionette, and now these 2 PV's that look about 1000x better than Sunrise/Sunset/Yw/Ballad combined..

Can someone explain that? xD will these PV's actually air on Japanese TV to promote the album? Or is it just for the fans?
Like.. will the general Japanese public even know about these PV's, considering they won't be on a single?

Not really, Fairyland was super expensive and it's a single. So as GREEN. I think it's just a biased correlation on your part.

I think those are just better songs. She really just mixed up her PVs for the most part. There are good/crappy pvs for everything.

JEWEL/1LOVE were originally meant to be on a single. RAINBOW was made to promote A BALLADS. So I guess it's merely coincidence sometimes.

edit: as far as I know all the PVs got aired (though I am not sure if decision was).
