She could still remix Sexy Little Things, Lady Dynamite and count down I'm hoping for count down! That's one of my favorite songs from Rock'n'roll Circus.
I'm rooting for a LD and SLT remix since they're my two favs left off of RnRC. Plus, SLT is the type of track that BEGS for some awesome remixes.

I agree with her. I don't get that concept either. You get the original song and like 49567578 versions of it over and over again and half of them usually aren't that good. I'd prefer a B-side and/or a couple of remixes of previous tracks like she's doing now.

Doesn't she record her songs really quickly?
I thought this too. Why are people surprised that she's recording when she has a two singles and a *assumed* album coming up? lol It only takes her like a few hours to record a song, doesn't it? It's not at all far fetched that she's able to squeeze in recording time into her schedule.

I was thinking that her reasoning was more that so many people put their blood, sweat, and tears into making 1 track that is seems almost disgraceful to just throw all their work out with the original music and have someone make new music (that usually isn't that good) in like an hour.

But I'm sure there are remixes that even she enjoys, like the Days and GREEN remixes were fun.

Oh please, remixing takes so much longer than that. Some remixes take days to do. Just as long as it would to make a regular song. Remember, they're given the vocal track, and an empty slate to work with. They have to start from the very beginning just like a regular artist would when it comes to making a song. I hated her early singles that had way too many really crappy remixes. Even though she doesn't like remixes, I think she does it for the fans. Someone is bound to like them. And besides, if every single she ever had consisted of the main song, and an instrumental, and nothing else, that wouldn't be much of a single at all. :/

I didn't realize that many fans don't enjoy the remixes or think it's "a waste of time."

For a fan like me, Ayu was the artist who got me in into Trance, Eurobeat, etc. I adore most of her remixes. When Ayu used to do about 10 remixes on a single, I enjoyed them a lot! Not only was it worth the $20, but there were more tracks to enjoy then just a simple A and B side and instrumentals.

And yes people do put their hard work into the remixes, but that's their job! Producers wouldn't be in the business only if everything they did played in all the popular clubs. Artists like Ferry Corsten who have remixed for Ayu introduced me to his music and thus gained another fan. I'm sure I'm not the only Ayu fan to discover an artist over Ayu's remix albums. It's not pointless for Ayu to approach producers to do remixes for her. And hearing more versions of one song does not grow boring to me in the least bit. It's one of the things that are unique about Ayu, her remixes.

Yes AyuTrance and the remixes were what really made me fall for Ayu back in the day! And big ups for liking Ferry Corsten!

I gotcha. Singles were more worth the money back then as you got what was basically the length of an album worth of songs. But I have to agree with hsienko, I'm more about the quality than the quantity and while Ayu's remix albums tend to be good, over half of the remixes on her older singles aren't worth my time. I just end up skipping over them and never listening to them. Plus, I'd rather not listen to different versions of the same song over and over again but that could also do with the fact that I'm not much of a remix person to begin with. I'd rather have a new song and a few good remixes of past singles/album tracks but I can understand how people would prefer the old format. ^^

Any sort of TRANCE remix on this single will be a blessing.
I think Sexy little things screams a trance orgasm (can I say that word?! xD)

I'd like to see a Sexy Little Things remix as well. Wouldn't be it amazing if Ayu was following this form and watching over our comments? It's not that out of reach if you think. She is one of the most popular artists in Japan and very well known around the world and this place is like the most popular Ayumi forum out there.

I agree, the multiple remixes that usually aren't that good are unneccessary, but then paying so much for 5 songs seems unreasonable. maybe in japan they are only like 10 dollars? so it's ok

but if i was not a fan, i would have to like the song soooo much to get any single for 20+ dollars

i hope the japanese audience doesn't feel that way? If so getting an ayu single to sell means the song has to be good to them lol and we definitely aren't sure even yet what the japanese public does or doesn't like, if only just a vague idea '-___-

I'm craving for new Trance or Eurobeat remixes, preferably from the people who made RMX WORKS, god those albums were amazing. Of course I'd prefer new remix albums, but if we can't have those, then I want some remixes on the single!

I am afraid that cannot be the case because one of the Dj who remix Free&Easy died.

I'm not sure how the Japanese spend their money casually on releases, but I'm pretty sure they're use to the prices. Plus I think more casual fans download online, no? That's why Sunrise and Days got such high sales?

Well she already performed new songs before their release once this year... I would be so upset if we had to wait until December for all of them though.

my god, would it kill her to have yasutaka nakata remix at least one song in her life? lol I am hoping for a remix by him, or by someone like wideboys, or jaques lu cont. ♥

And I say "crossroads" instead of "crossroad" cause it makes me think of that britney spears movie. XD

I like the way the singles are now cuz I actually like the one to three remixes as opposed to liking one out of a bunch.
The old singles was just so much. I always only like one remix. But at least these they get it right with the few remixes they have imo so I don't mind ^___^

I would love a blossom remix on this single. That would be fantastic. And a crossroad remix.
