The team from New York Daily News has conducted a survey of the 20 richest female singers of all time-based on contracts, tours and inheritance based on lists from Forbes magazine. The first is pop queen Madonna, the only singer of the billionaire list. In the list there are only three singers with less than 10 years of career as Avril Lavigne, Miley Cyrus, Rihanna with gains estimated at 280 and 100 million respectively). Check out the list:

Mariah Carey, 40 – US$ 750 million (20 years)
Barbra Streisand, 68 – US$ 625 million (53 years)
Celine Dion, 42 – US$ 590 million (30 years)

Ayumi Hamasaki, 31 – US$ 400 million (16 years)

I think it's really impressive

Especially since her fanbase is mostly in asia (of course there are fans all over the world but not as many as in asia~), the other artist have fans all over the world, "more equally" than ayu~
