I love Kuu and I love Ayu so I hope I can say this:

Do they appear to be mimicking each other? They're release schedules are the same, even now to the point they're on the same day. Ayu is having a 7 day live special, Kumi is having an 8 day live special. Ayu is covering an old song now Kumi is coming out with the a cover album? I'm not saying this is a bad thing but does anyone else notice they're doing the same things this year? I wonder if that means they'll collaborate or something down the road!

I think Kuu will outsell Ayu digitally, but of course, that stupid oricon only does physical sales. If Ayu didn't have JJ in her pv, I would have been very worried for her streak.

So basically it says she'll be covering Kayoukyoku and Jpop hit songs from the 70s-90s with new hip hop, electronic and acoustic arrangements.

I'm sorry, but I agree with kakumei. It's not THAT hard to look something up on Google or even Wikipedia. I do that all the time when I come across an artist I've never heard of or phrases/words I've never seen.

can anyone update me with recent kuu news and releases? havent been on since the release of the covers and tracklist for suki de x3.

Kuu is doing an 8 day show (an elegant show with strict formal attire) in partnership with Billboard, 4 days in Osaka, 4 in Tokyo.

In October she's releasing a 1 disc cover album of the older hits in japan, only they will have electronic and updated arrangements.

1/3 of the suki de pvs have leaked, but there's 45 second previews of the other two on youtube.

Universe dvd is being released in Oct too!
