What is it with this sudden trend of cover albums? First Kobukuro, then Superfly, then JUJU, now Kuu. I just hope people haven't already grown tired of it by the time Kuu releases her album...

I like Selfish but it isn't like is this LOVE? - I think it wouldn't work with Kumi singing it. One reason I love is this LOVE? is because it's one of the few rock songs with Ayu's higher-pitched voice (which I always took for granted. I loved her deep voice in lives like AT05 but then when her deep voice was all she used I missed the old one). Kumi's version would definitely be more husky.

I emailed CDJapan about the new DVD and I got a response saying that it's prohibited to sell overseas. So I guess, I'll go with HMV then

That's crazy but it looks like it's true since the DVD is listed on neowing but not on CDJapan.

What could Avex possibly have to gain by not allowing overseas sales?

EDIT: It looks like the first press of the UNIVERSE DVD will come with an application form for concert tickets; I guess that must be the reason why they're restricting sales.

that would explained things but in a way or 2 , it's not benefiting people living outside of Japan who wants to buy her UNIVERSE tour DVD

From what I can tell, you have to buy both versions (CD Only and CD+DVD) of the "Suki de" single + UNIVERSE DVD to apply for the tickets.

But, yeah, I don't know why they'd restrict one but not the other.

That can't be true, cause it's listed on YesAsia and overseas buyers are able to buy it. So do I know.
