I think they used to be very careful with the package, the presentation of albums is mostly amazing. (now I talk about kuu) But 1 album with that double-sized box including the album, the dvd with video clips, and always another dvd with a special live or something like that, many booklets (always more than one)... I know it's expensive, but there's too much stuff in it.

If u go to any music shop in any country with a huge market in music, the albums are just a simple box, the cd with the songs, and the booklet. It's rare to found anything else (maybe some special or limited editions, but it's nothing worth), then, it makes u think on download the songs and forget about spend money xDD that's for me at least.

With the japanesse music industry I'm very angry cause they always make me to want to buy everything! even a damn single!!!! (I found very heavy that every single has the cd+dvd version, it's like crazy!)

Very true. Also, I have some American albums that have like almost no booklet. A couple don't even have lyrics. However, and just my opinion, but i dislike most American music these days. There's very little I like, and if i do like the songs that's usually all I like about the artist. I'm just mostly more interested in older music in America like from 60s thru to 90s. And even a little at the very start of the 00's. I miss Smash Mouth. Anyways, getting back on track, you are right about all the extra goodies that Japan likes to add in, and now Korea's starting to get into that more and more as well. Still, quite often we do have the option to buy HK or other OS Presses, yet the Japan Presses just feel so tempting.

i guess they will put the special price for online members sooner or later.i waited for 2 days for them to put the special price for online members for the album i pre-order yesterday evening.so,i think they will put it soon?

cdjapan is just being slow in updating their site. but as far as i know, there's no first press.
i'm not ordering the DVD this time round, since i will be in japan when it's release, i'm going to walk into the store and buy!!!

items in japan are just always more expensive, not just cds. their economy is tronger and recently yen is growing, so the exchange rate is bad for everyone, except japanese....

Isn't it always like that? When the yen wasn't on the uprise japanese goods always seemed really expensive compared to everywhere else.

My friend from Canada bought me first press copies of A BEST 2 -BLACK- and -WHITE- from a Bookoff there, so they definitely do have J-pop in Canada. They had tons more, almost all of her albums, some of her singles as well.

But maybe there's no Bookoff nearby for you, I don't know but you should look into it!

@Keiichi_JPU Well i guess I would've been officially partially lying. Sometimes u can find a little if you're in an asian district or get lucky, but our major CD Stores don't carry any asian music at all. Mostly around here all I've found is all bootlegs and burns. I did find a place in China Town in Toronto that carries legits, but there's very small selection. There's no K-Pop and only small tiny selection of J-Pop. Most of it is Chinese. That and I ran into a place called Anime Xtreme in CT as well that had some used Kumi, Ayu and couple others stuff for sale. Their regular CD Stock though was all bootlegs. Well maybe I'm just not in the right area or something. Oh and we do have a tiny tiny amount of J-Pop here in our HMV. Just Hikki's official Canada releases of Ultra Blue, Heart Station and Singles Coll V1.

『KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2010 ～UNIVERSE～』On Sale!
2010年4月1 started from Osaka-Jo Hall, nation-wide, 9 cities, 18 performances.

It broke the past record of live DVD, with the total of 200,000 audience (including Yokohama Stadium -DMP-) and finally it's on sale.

Universe as the theme, Koda Air Line as the universe passenger plane, water fountain, big LED monitor, hanging in the mid-air acrobatic and lots more!

In other word, the compilation of 10th anniversary, a must see live & entertainment!

The 2nd piece of DVD will contain the other side of the tour and the making of.

And! for the first time in 4 years, there will be a "come back" of laughter & comments on the making of. While watching the original story and making of, koda kumi and her happy friends will share lots of funny & happy talks.

Furthermore, for the first limited, there will be a special application via letter.
