thats a very good idea actually! i was thinking it would be a good idea to do a charity CD too, but i don't wanna tweet her telling her what to do. i think Ayu will be charitable in they way she decides is best.

^ i never thought about an entire concert. i was just hoping for a single or something. you know a powerful song. But a concert for the victims would be cool too.
You would attract more people if a group of artist were doing it however.

Ayu performed on a charity concert in 1999 for Taiwan, which just suffered from a devastating 7.5 or so earthquake. "a song is born" was also a charity CD for 911.

Besides, it seems that ayu tends to do charity (eg. clothes for children, money for recovering from a disaster) without telling the public. But I believe that ayu is very charitable. We can also easily tell from what ayu has done on Twitter these days.

That's great to hear. Ayu needs to do something to support the earthquake victims.

Maybe they could all put something big together, like the 9/11 concert.

tl;dr - Stop overreacting. If AHS was an issue to the Japanese music industry it would be gone. They simply don't care that people post TA messages, at least not enough to actually do something about it.
Heck, I even see the Japanese text for messages at 2ch (a Japanese BBS) sometimes. It's not that big of a deal. I recall one time an online paper quoted one of her blog entries word for word in the original Japanese from her blog. I doubt they have anyone scouring the Internet for traces of Ayu's diary entries. I mean, we're not supposed to distribute the original kana for her lyrics, but they appear online in various places as well.

^ People make way too much of a deal about the text being posted here when I think Ayu would actually be more concerned about the downloads section than translations of diary entries =| Just post them, no executive is going to personally hunt you down for it They actually rely on fans doing the groundwork for them, although they'd never openly admit that! xDDD

I actually think Avex will step in at some point and do a massive a-nation type of concert with all their acts together. It would be amazing if all the participants had new songs and debut them at a concert like that. That would guarantee a huge attendance and also mean less work for all their individual artists...they would plan 1 concert instead of 20-30 for each act!

I think she should not only sing ballads but songs that have nice, uplifting lyrics. Of course, no need for a performance like Step YOU/EnegeriZe from CDL09-10, but I guess you get me. Because only ballads is kinda meh IMO, it should also be kinda uplifting/hope spending

For me... t2m actually would work... Now, maybe anger and despair isn't anything you would want to put up there, but the song itself have nice lyrics... "after destruction comes creation".

But I do think ballads have the best impact. They are respectful, kind and nice. Gives courage without "walking over" ppl feelings that more upbeat songs can tend to do sometimes. "too angry". "too happy", "why isn't she respecting the situation more"? or whatever different ppl can feel.

We had such a nice time. We started dating in t2m PV, took it slow you know, let our love grow. Then it got really serious in 2008. Then after AT2009 we moved in together. It was lovely. Then on AT2010 he asked me to marry him. He was such a sweet. And Ayu gave us our blessings. She was also such a sweet. Now me and Maro are such a sweets together. Aaaw, how time flies.

In Japanese, T2M is much too violent a song and cold song to sing for that. The lyrics, while they have the destruction comes creation, they are so cold and actually I don't even want to think about her singing this song for a charity event or similar. Maybe it doesnt translate into english well, but yeah I dont recommend this song at all.

For Japanese, I think ballad works best.

I think the following songs would be nice to have for a charity concert:

blossom
Sunrise ~LOVE IS ALL~
Blue Bird
Beautiful Fighters (maybe?)
walking proud
replace
Greatful Days
Born to be...
Beautiful Day
Will (maybe?)
fated (maybe?)
MY ALL
Curtain Call
Last Links
Thank U
Red Line
Sweet Season

they're mostly pretty upbeat songs, but I was going through some lyrics and I thought these songs seemed pretty positive and resilient, which would be appropriate for an uplifting concert. <3

But has Ayu made any comment about this? Or is she just taking it into consideration? I think it would be a good idea if she streamed it like CDL10-11, so much more people can watch and increase the amount is revenue/donations would be higher.
