Yeah the choices were CKB, Cheers, Man down. Man down is the only song I can't tolerate from the album, and Cheers is great but not good enough to be a single IMO, so I'm glad with California~ Video should be beautiful.

In the April issue of Vogue Magazine, director Peter Berg chatted with the magazine about Rihanna who stars in his upcoming Battleship movie and reveals the singer isn’t as tough as she seems.
The director says he picked Rihanna for the role of naval officer Cora Raikes because he was looking for an actress who could play “tough, urban, scrappy, funny” and for some reason the singer popped into his head.

He said once he meet the singer whose video persona intrigued him, he was amazed to find out that RiRi wasn’t such a badass after all.
He says, "When you meet her there’s absolutely no resemblance to that sexy superdiva that you see in the videos. It’s a complete act, in my opinion. I am not saying she’s not a very sexy girl, but there’s so much more to her than that. She is clearly playing around with a character.”

And what made him decide to give the role to Rihanna? Well it was last year’s hilarious Saturday Night Live “Shy Ronnie” skit which wowed the director. “Rihanna has a very strong presence – people are going to be surprised. Let’s put it this way: She kicks ass. She had to get into an eighteen-foot inflatable raft and sit behind a machine gun for six hours at a time in seven-foot swells.”


The director added, “We had rescue swimmers on Jet Skis and armed shark spotters because there were quite a few sharks out there.”
And how did Rihanna feel about the experience? Well the singer says she enjoyed every minute of filming the tough action sequences!
"There were all these people, cameras, and huge cranes out in the middle of the ocean and I got to do some stunts which was incredible. I loved it – especially diving into the ocean.” source

Last night Rihanna emerged from the same restaurant as Colin Farrell who she is rumoured to be in a close friendship with.

The pair did not want to be photographed together so came out of Santa Monica eatery Giorgio Baldi separately.

Rihanna looked demure, by her standards, in black cropped trousers and a silver blouse.

Her curly red hair made sure she was noticed though as she exited the Italian restaurant.

Farrell meanwhile, looked rather sheepish as he made a quick dash out wearing jeans and a black T-shirt.

It has been reported in recent weeks that the pair have been sending flirty text messages to each other.

The Sun claims that Farrell, 34 has 'worked his charms on Rihanna to such an extent she hasn't stopped texting him', since they swapped numbers earlier this year when they both appeared on The Graham Norton Show in the UK.

A source told the paper: 'Colin was taken aback by some of the texts. He reckons he might well be in there. They're both single, so why not?'

It is also rumoured that he will be introducing the 23-year-old to his two sons, James, seven and 18-month-old Henry, while she is in LA.

GOOD for her if they are getting it on, he's a hottie and I've seen his sex tape. Can you say giddy up rudeboy?

Sounds pretty much the same when she performed S&M at Brit Awards 2011 few months ago. I wondered what she was doing but maybe S&M is just a pretty hard song to be sung live. :/

And as for me, I really love this girl. Her music is awesome. I really started loving her in 2007 when Umbrella was released. It was so amazing and original that I couldn't help but worship it to the heavens. Ever since I've loved every single she has released. Amazing stuff. And I used to hate her music from the bottom of my heart. Shame on me.

No, it stops at track 11 and I had to download the bonus track online. but, the bonus track doesn't have cussing in it anyway so it didn't matter if it was censored or not to me.
