I doubt this album will be able to reach the 500k mark (only if it had a very long chart life) but 400k and more are very possible

I highly doubt we'll be getting a new album anytime soon. Knowing her, she'll probably announce a tour for Checkmate!, which would really piss me off.

As for sales, I also think that it's not very likely that Checkmate! will break 500k. I'm confident it'll hit 400k. It's already closing in on that number so it's probably going to go past 400k, but I think 500k is pretty far.

I don't know who the hell you are, but don't tell me what to do. I have a right to feel however I want about it. The only thing I get to experience from Namie is her new music and videos. It's not like I can go to one of her concerts. She tours all the time though and after seeing a few concerts on DVD, I've begun to feel like I've seen them all, especially since it's mostly just singing and dancing without all the flashiness of an Ayu concert. I don't even have to explain myself to you, but I don't like that she tours so much, and I'll talk about it as much as I want.

I was just clarifying your identity. If I had anything else to say, I would of said it to you a long time ago...or in that post.

Bottom line. We all have different opinions. If you see people wishing Namie was doing another album, they're just a big fan wanting new music. It's not something to defend Namie's name over. Let's not bring stan behaviour into this thread too.

I feel like I've had this discussion a million times in the Namie threads. Just because she loves touring, does it mean we can't make comments wishing/hoping/discussing about her next original studio album?

It's what the artist threads are for, after all. I wish Namie would get into a studio this summer and start recording for an album, but...well, Namie records when she wants. I'm just happy that everything she records is quality.
