I've tried to get into their music but I only seem to like a few songs. I like their Japanese stuff but that is probably because it's Japanese versions of songs I already like.

I'm starting to like Mr. Taxi.

^ You should look into album tracks besides the one they use for promotions, and yes a bit switch to Kpop is hard for the first time (I felt that) but once you're into the groove and get to know the girls more, you'll get this whole thing

Have anyone posted this here?
I decide to post it in case no one haven't

The rumored price of All About Girls' Generation DVD and BD
DVD - 54000 won
bluray - 99000 won

^Some says it'll likely be like that or not far from that price range

Apr 26 2011 09:27 PM | michaelroni in News

Earlier in the news wrap of Girls' Generation's Japanese activities, it was reported that 'MR. TAXI' reached number one on the Recochoku chart in Japan on the first day of its release. Back home in South Korea, the girls managed to achieve the same success, as 'MR. TAXI' reached the top of the Bugs! real-time digital sales chart. And for those keeping score, the 'MR. TAXI' dance MV has surpassed 750,000 views on the official Universal Music Japan YouTube page.

Girls' Generation's Japanese Website Updated With 'MR. TAXI' Theme

The official Japanese website of Girls' Generation was updated earlier today with a new theme reflecting the 'MR. TAXI/Run Devil Run' single that has already been shipped to some fans. When the website is first opened, a cut of the Japanese 'Run Devil Run' music video is shown along with a cut from the 'MR. TAXI' music video. Once the full website opens, be sure to click on the gallery to view updated portraits of the girls in their 'MR. TAXI' outfits.

On the first day of its release to the public, the full version of 'MR. I was wondering when we would hear information about this DVD. While I'm excited about it, if it's coming out anytime near the release date of their Japanese album, I won't be able to get it anytime soon.

With it being released so closely to the album, I'll definetely be getting it at a later time. I'm hoping though that with my birthday being in the beginning of July, I could ask for it as a birthday present.

the sales are great! and what's awesome is that they don't usually have drastic drops, so I don't think they'll have a problem crossing 100k their first week!

Yeah, I've listened to some songs on their first album and I think the Gee mini album before too and I didn't care for those too much. Yeah I haven't been into Kpop much just mainly BoA.

I'll keep giving their music a try though.

keep in mind that the majority of SNSD's music is cute, so if you can't get into cute songs you won't like the majority of what they put out. but there also is stuff for those who dislike their cute songs like Hoot, Wake Up, Run Devil Run, Genie, Mr. TAXI and all of their ballads.

Exactly. Even though I love SNSD, I still wouldn't say I really like the majority of their songs. Mostly just the singles, ballads, and some other album/mini tracks. When they get really cutesy like in a lot of their first album, it's definitely not my thing.

Me too, I didn't really enjoy their super cutesy songs like Be Happy or Ooh La-La! though I love things like Gee, Oh!, ETUDE, Himnae, and etc. But somehow I like ones such as Yoona's Eco Song and Jessica's Sweet Delight
I tend to love their dance ones and ballads

@Amrai-chan, I agree with Noura
Hoot mini would do Good, it's quiet a solid album

Although I think the girls' are doing great with their single sales and chart positioning, I have to admit that I was completely blindsided by Jang Geun Suk. I hope the girls' can surpass him for the #1 spot but whether they do or not, they are doing awesome and I wish them the best in sales.
