Don't worry, the rip that's on JPS at the moment isn't a full rip. IN THE AIR cuts off near the end~ I just couldn't wait to hear the whole single and how the songs and interludes fit together. The full HQ will be worth the wait

Just gotta say listening to IN THE AIR I have that feeling of "excitement" which I haven't gotten in a while with a J-song. Anyone else get that feeling from certain songs. It's like I'm "excited" to be listening to it the whole time.

^YES! YES! YES! IN THE AIR is FREAKING AMAZING! It's now tied with Always for the best song in Kuu's entire discography for me. The PV is absolute perfection and for me personally one of the best PVs from any singer this year. If the song and PV don't make it onto her next album I will be very pissed!

Driving is her best song for me but Always is definitely one of my favorites as well! Always is soooo nice!

I also get the feeling from IN THE AIR like it's about someone who isn't your first love, but you truly do love them and it's like you never thought you would love that much again but you have now found this person who truly makes you feel excited and whole again. Do the lyrics reflect that at all?

I do love Driving myself!

Looking at the translation of IN THE AIR I personally interpret it as someone who lost their way and the person they're talking about brought them back to the place they needed to be.

But I can also see it as someone like you said.
