To respond to roanmy, the photoshoot went over by a day and since the entire thing was happening RIGHT after Fashion Week and 9/11, there were basically no flights.

It was just a lot of things going wrong by coincidence. I hope she can perform next week or something to make up for it.

^I suppose there is no use in crying over spilled milk. But yeah, ultimately the responsibility was Ayu's and her staffs. This could have been avoided with proper planning. They knew they had a commitment and cut it way too close. Forget not being able to get a ticket, what if the flight had to be delayed because of adverse weather or something? It isn't really the best idea to be in a different country the day before a scheduled live tv performance. Negative tweets about this do not surprise me because in Japan honoring commitments is a big deal.

I'm pretty sure she was supposed to leave a few days ago but they had to postpone a photo shoot because of the weather, then it was 9/11 and all that. From what I've read it seems like she was supposed to be back in Japan a few days before the performance.

Ayu has said that of course they did have tickets booked but one of her staff mixed up the actual flight time so they ended up missing their booked flight, and then not being able to get another one.

If you've got a flight booked, your sorted, nothing else needs to be done. just a shame that staff member cocked up the time.

What I'll say, could sound weird but I'm glad to see that event!
At least, Ayu is not as such kind of starlet who have a lot of money & seems to be a god. She takes the same plane (not private jet) than us & have the same problem than we can meet. It's like if another gate between her & us fell! I feel more close to her now!

The boost in sales wasn't due to the drama, cause yesterday sales are those from Friday and general public didn't know about it till the evening.
Probably the ToX game helped. If the drama helped or effected her negatively can be seen just today with sales for Saturday.

They could only ban her from performing on their program, and that's about it.

Unless AVEX wants to go further and ban her releases, promotion, tour, etc... but that would be a huge loss for them, they just can't afford it LOL They need the Queen, like it or not.
