Her 6th consecutive #1 studio album
Including BEST ~first things~ in 2005, Koda has had a #1 album for 8 consecutive years (2005-2012)

Out of ALL solo artists, she is tied third with Seiko Matsuda (1981-1988), Nakamori Akina (1982-1989), and Watanbe Misato (1986-1993) for number of consecutive years (8) with a #1 album in each. Number two is ayumi hamasaki with 13 years from 1999-2011, and number one is matsutoya yumi with 18 years from 1981-1998.

Out of artists (solo AND groups) debuting in the naughties (2000s), Kumi has now surpassed BoA's 7 consecutive years (2002-2008), which I guess gives her the record for artists post 2000 (however they didn't explicity state this).

also, I thought that No Man's Land & BBB were something really new for Kuu. it was a bit different music. she did rock before but these 2 are smth really different, at least to me, and they made me very happy

after seeing the scans all I can say is that whoever said Kuu is never artistic and too simple should see this booklet, it's kinda artsy imho surprised about Shimoko doing it, he makes Ayu so ugly and he makes Kuu bloom. maybe he's a Kuu agent, idk

I really love the album and happy to see some new releases.
I wish she'd do a photobook like Tsubasa Masuwaka on being pregnant

ESCALATE & Lay Down = boring and some of the biggest letdowns of her career, imo. Love Technique I was obsessed with but I really don't see the longevity in it. I'm already tired of it somewhat. Still liking No Man's Land (maybe even more now). But what it comes down to is that when I'm driving, is it worth it to go into my iPod under JAPONESQUE just to listen to those two songs and then have to change the album / artist right after that? Not really.

Like heavy electro songs that you arent necessarily dancing to in a club, but playing...at home...in bed...lol

Even though it's too soon to be thinking about new materiel, I can't help but keep wondering when we'll be getting a new single and if they really do plan to release another BEST album soon. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
