lmao, always that excuse. But that goes both ways around dear.. so do we, so do we... And as a matter of fact, I'm simply expressing my frustration as a graphist when it comes to other people's opinions on that matter. Which is actually a part of MY personal opinion.

Nevertheless, I agree with SM spending so much on EXO, regardless on what people think as 'cheap' we'll never know how much exactly they spend on that group and as far as I see what SM did with them is rather expensive in terms of promoting a rookie group. They kinda went 'all-out' with them imo.

I initially opposed the idea of subgroup in SNSD but I don't really care about it in the end lol I agree with Utena that the concept is interesting and we might give it a try. I'm not a professional artist but I think they could pull a better one even in the least thing, but it's already there and yes there are great graphic artists in tumblr; but it doesn't mean that they're better than the professional ones or the other way around. Best is something relative for everyone.

midori - Lol wow. It's a forum's purpose to argue and defend what we think. Don't worry, I don't care at all if you don't like the picture, and I'm absolutely not telling you to change your advice so what you're saying makes pretty much no sense. I'm just explaining why I think the member I took the comment from is wrong.

You have the right to say it looks bad and explain how people on tumblr are so good at making "professional-looking" stuff, then I too have the right to say it's good and explain why I don't agree with you. I don't get why you say "everyone can have his own opinion" since we didn't do anything against it.

The difference is you USE it as an excuse by saying that you have the right to have an opinion when we never said the contrary. Especially since we were just responding to your opinions with our owns. which is by the way what makes a forum run and not simply giving our opinions without awaiting for some kind of opposition. Of course people will never have the same opinion, that's not the point. Respect your opinion? I did and still do, but you don't seem to respect ours that much.

This is also what I think. Deal with it or just ignore me, I'm not trying to pick up a fight or anything, I'm just explaining my point of view.
And I'm not saying you're not a faithful fan because you don't like something, just that you saying "cheap cheap" when it's not, simply makes no sense to me as a graphist/artist. If you wanna say "I don't like it" yeah ok, but saying "cheap" is not an opinion for me. Or at least, explain further coz' atm, I really don't see what's cheap about it. Maybe because it looks fanmade? Idk..


Maybe people don't like it that much because it's a bit different, more artistic than just a regular photoshoot with nothing particular added to it.. Something like a patchwork maybe? So maybe I'm more sensible to these types of work as we don't see them so often in the professionnal world? Idk.. All I know is that I like the concept, the coloring and the overall style they went for.

Rude? I remained polite and very calm all the way. I would say midori was the one being rude when she said we didn't respect her opinion when it was in fact her who didn't respect ours. She basically said that, and I quote:

I'm sorry, but I think that all of us are allowed to have an opinion, no matter if this opinion is a good or a bad one (same goes for the EXO-concept!).

You two like the pic and that is fine, but please let people - who don't like the pic or the concept - be.

So it also means we are allowed to have our opinions too, so why did it sound like it wasn't the case? Especially since we never said that people don't have the right not to like something.. Seriously people, don't imagine stuff we never ever said.

And I can assure you I was nowhere near rude.. But for some reason, it seems like you want to make it looks like we are the bad guys when all we did was do the same thing you guys did since the cover has been released, except that we actually have a different opinion on the matter. We came here, gave our opinions and get bashed? What's that?!

Why are they sitting on someones (Tiffanys?) head? And I really don't like Taeyeon's expression. I hope that's not the cover. I like the concept but something a little less tacky for a cover would be better. Looking forward to the songs! I kind of want a another unit with the dancing queens in the group!

SM Entertainment officially announced the creation of this new subunit on April 19th. They said in a statement, “Girls’ Generation’s subunit will feature the various talents of each Girls’ Generation member by changing the members of the unit according to the music and concept of each new subunit album. This subunit will aim to grab the attention of fans with all aspects of music, performance, and fashion styles.”

This is certainly going to be an interesting era.

why are people reading so much into the cover? who cares about the placement or blending really.. it's not supposed to look realistic or anything. i like it, it's pretty and the colors are divine. i'm really interested in what type of music they're going to release.

Thank you both so much for posting this information regarding the mini-album! I've been out of the SNSD loop for quite some time now due to the lack of music from the group (besides solo OST songs) so I'm happy to hear about anything at this point, lol. I'm happy to see them branching out into other things to ensure the future of their careers in other aspects of the entertainment industry but I'm more interested in their music than anything else. Anyways, I think the cover is nice (I don't love it or hate it) but I don't care for Taeyeon's expression as it's not as soft looking as the other girls. It's certainly different from SNSD's typical covers but since this is a subunit, I can understand the difference and I'm curious to hear the music, considering the song titles as well as the members in this group. From what I've read elsewhere, it seems as though some people don't like the idea of them breaking up into individual groups for different projects but I don't mind subunits as long as we still hear them as a whole group and everyone gets a fair chance to shine in their respective subgroups. I'm very excited about this and hope preorders become available soon!
