It's obvious we'll get a full version, as you said the XILLIA2 ver. is obviously there because it's only the short mix used for the trailer.

If I recall correctly, progress was only released two/three months before FIVE was released?

Considering that it's nearly the end of September, and that Ayu has material left over from Party Queen...
I think that a mini-album isn't out of the question.
Especially considering that we've only received a preview for Song 4 u.
It seems extremely suspicious.
Also, considering ToX's release date in November...
Why wouldn't she release something around that time, when she receives extra promotion?
I mean, FIVE was released in conjunction with ToX (FIVE was released a week before hand?)

So, either mini-album or physical single?
Something is going to be released soon.

ok really Timmy is working on a new song! he said it twitter so is that mean we will get a physical single soon??

I think, if the song don't have a longer version, than that is really unusual, Ayu always have long songs (4-5 min)

^ yes i know but considering hes now working with Ayu had only been tweeting about his new compositions for Ayu before this so i expect that this maybe for Ayu's new stuff too

Well, I hope there is a full version. The song has promise and I need a promising ayu song. This year has been just sad... Not terribly sad. Like someone said, it's time to move on from FIVE/PQ and begin anew.

well its a little disappointing that its only 2 + minutes, but it does say Xillia version... so Im hoping we get a full version...
After all progress had the 'anime' version as well.

They must be doing a mini... I would prefer a single, but I can deal with the mini.

I didn't realize that this forum was expecting a full version of the song... lol
thats asking for WAY too much when the game doesnt even get released till the beginning of November.

Because asking the fans to pay 200yen for a preview isn't WAY too much ??

At least if they just released it as ringtones I wouldn't mind, but making a digital single just for 2 minutes...

They put the short version of You & Me on youtube for free and that was popular so I guess they felt they missed a trick and figured they can make fans pay for previews.

I think it's stranger that they released it to begin with if it's only 2 minutes. I mean, they could have just put it on YouTube like they did with You & Me, but they wanted to get as much money as possible out of the 2 minutes preview.

First, excited fans buy it through ringtones, then they buy it on iTunes or other net based sites.

They got people to potentially pay twice for a 2 minute clip, which I think is sad.

I enjoy the song, but yeah, I suppose I was expecting a full song. Maybe it was written somewhere that it wasn't in full, but when you say the theme song is going to be released digitally, that doesn't really scream "snippet" to me, lol.

I think people are forgetting about progress.

It wasn't available for download or to buy, but we first got it as the opening theme.
To expect the actual song for download when it wasn't even announced till like 3 days before hand is a little bit of an over expectation.

The theme song of the game is "Song 4 u", not just this 2 minutes part

Yeah it would've been early but that's not really the problem. They announced a digital single on iTunes and they're releasing a 2 minutes version, that's pretty ridiculous imo

Bad Wolf : I understand what you mean but it's quite stupid, even for avex, to make people pay 200yen for the short mix of a song... if you've already seen anyone do this, please tell me !
