I think people are just too obsessed with getting singles. I don't really care what gets released as long as we get something new along with it (see A BEST 2/A SUMMER BEST). It really just looks as though people are complaining for the sake of complaining. Does it matter that all Ayu has done in the last 2 years are albums when they've mostly been completely all new material, especially in the long run? Sure, it seems less hype-train worthy and it doesn't really promote her upcoming albums as much, but if she doesn't want to release singles or doesn't plan on doing so from now on, why keep beating a dead horse?

Although I do love singles, an album without prior singles means a lot more suspense and a lot of new songs
But it also means less publicity for the album D: But Ayu doesn't care for sales anyway...

I don't think she'll put LOVE and again songs in this album, and, if she does, it might not be all those songs, maybe only one or two from each? But let's wait and see... either way, I'm really excited for this album *-*

I'm surprised that the 4th out of 5 releases is an album...I would think they'd save the album for last. So that tells me that maybe they really are trying to do A BEST 3. Sort of how they released Secret followed by A BEST 2, and nothing from Secret was on it...

To anyone who was wondering about the 2CD thing with Party Queen, I don't think that hinted at her having enough material for 2 discs, but that it was an idea that came up during discussions as translated by Misa-chan:

“This is the first time I’ve written lyrics for an entire album all at one go. Normally, I would be bogged down by the process of songwriting, but this time, I just felt that I wanted to make more. We even had a discussion about making the album into a 2-CD affair. So songwriting wasn’t a problem this time, but it was tough trying to get all the songs to link together well.”

“Usually, I lose myself to the melody and arrangement, and the lyrics would then come to me. This time, however, I wanted to start writing the lyrics first. It was only after I had them out, did I start requesting for specific melodies and arrangements. I played a large part in deciding the direction of the songs this time.”

It would be nice though if she had old unreleased tracks on here because I bet she has a TON of them.

I wonder if anyone can confirm anything about there being a 'new songs' line in the TeamAyu listing when it was first posted.

Ayu is a better artist than Bjork. People only listen to Bjork because she released one good album like over 15 years ago. Bjork was a wannabe Japanese lady on that album cover where as Ayu is a real japanese lady.
