Ayu being last is a total a-nation staple, so I'm glad they're continuing with it this year. I went to the '08 show in Osaka (the year Ayu only did the Tokyo shows) and Kuu closed out the show...as much as I love her, the performance just didn't pack a punch as much as Ayu's does, and the end was a total letdown.

That being said, I'm excited to see her setlist and costumes for this year! Less Timmy, pls.

Ayu is so great ending a-nation, her opening part tends to be awesome, then she has the "car" thing circulating around the whole arena and the way she always perform the last song gives this perfect feeling for a show ending, it feels just right for her to be the last act

Timmy wrote that A-nation rehearsals are held everyday now. There are plenty of Ayu songs he doesn't know yet, so he has hard time memorizing the lyrics. But he's glad that there were songs he knows (in the set-list, I guess).

Ayu has over 120 songs and he's only been with her for a few years. I don't even think Ayu knows all of her songs by heart.

I remember when Ayu once said she had to google her own songs for the lyrics. She has a lot of songs - according to Deli's incredibly awesome song list, she has 245 unique songs. Yeah, I'm not surprised Timmy is struggling right now. I'm sure most of her staff (including Ayu) have to brush up when she decides to perform songs that aren't on her staple list.

I agree with this totally. But I wonder if that means there might be some really old/obscure songs that haven't been performed a lot.

I totally agree, when I first saw the cap, I thought the same. But I know AHS and I know this is not the place to really get worked up over it, so I stayed silent. But you're not alone. I did get some backlash when I was angry about the Bitch word in her music video.....it's just not worth getting into fights with people about this. For me, personally, it is just another weird thing/disappointment from a woman I once admired a lot. But then my Ayu-fandom has been burning low for years now.

I'd like to know the a-nation playlist, but last years a-nation was so meh....I don't think it'll be much surprising. Ah, where have the days of the Summer Singles gone?
