The "hahaha laughing out loud" chorus is irritating and infantile. It just disturbs the flow of the song for me and I can't help but to cringe when I hear it.

Still looking forward to the album leaking this week.

Song is epic . But i also want some dancing on the PV. Already love this album more than Japonesque which was also pretty great.

The HAHAHA LAUGHING OUT LOUD thing i find annoying on the ears and the part where she starts Tonights the Beat... theres something about just the way it sounds that almost reminds me of another popular American song that I cant quite put my finger on...

The actual outfits and atmosphere of the PV itself though I really like.

I'm lol-ing at the talk of ku shedding her "cute" image and fans welcoming a more focused "mature" side of her... Because LOL is like the most childish thing she's put out - Sounds like something a scorned preteen would release. I'd much rather have music that SOUNDS good (Good Day, Lady Go, LOVE TECHNIQUE, whatchu waitin on, Lick Me).

TBH out of songs I've heard in full this era around so far I've only really fallen in love with GTTT, LALALALALA, Dreaming Now & IS THIS TRAP. TOUCHDOWN 's not bad, Koishikute was nice but it still feels rather weak and the other single b-sides I barely even remember. SMYH I'm still undecided on.

Dreaming Now and ITT I think are the ONLY songs this era I've fallen in ♥♥♥♥♥ with on 1st listen.

I feel SOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED in her this time and I feel real bad having to say it being a dedicated fan since her debut single, but I'm very happy I cancelled my preorder for Bon Voyage.

However I think I may really like Imagine and possibly Winner Girls. Guess I'll find out once the full album leaks.

I preordered the fan club edition and the CD+Bluray edition of this album but I am considering cancelling my order for the CD+Bluray edition. Although I don't dislike any of the previously released single tracks that are going to be on the album or the album exclusive songs and previews we've heard thus far, I don't like or love them enough to buy two versions of the same album at this time. I may buy a used copy of the CD+Bluray edition at a later date once I've heard the album in full and decide if it's worth it to own two copies but right now, I'm still on the fence about it but am very close to hitting the cancel button.

I didn't even pay all that much for my copy with all the CDJAPAN points I had, but I still feel so disappointed that I cancelled it and used my refunded money and points to preorder Namie's FEEL TOUR even though I HATE that she performed Hot Girls during the concert again. I still think I'd prefer to have that instead. I'm finding I use concert Blurays more than CDs anyways. However at this point I can say I'm only intending on DL'ing Bon Voyage to see what I think of it as a whole. Not sure how much of it won't get the Delete button though.


Oh, I know this is kinda Off-Topic and little random, but I'm listening to my Final Fantasy music right now, and a Piano Version of 1000 no Kotoba just started playing. This sounds GORGEOUS. Bit unique from the original but it gives the song a VERY VERY nice feel to it.

Although I'm still getting a copy of the album, I'm kind of disappointed that I cancelled my order for the CD+Bluray edition, but unfortunately, I'm not loving everything enough to justify buying two copies and I find more value in the fan club edition as it's limited edition and comes with the live DVD that I really want to own. As I said before, I'm really hoping that once the album is released and I hear all the songs in full, I'll like it enough to buy the CD+Bluray, but at this time, I'm not impressed enough and I have other things from other artists to buy too (like the Perfume Tour Bluray that I just spent over $80 on this morning, lol). Like you though, I may actually download the album and give it a listen before my copy arrives (which I'm normally against doing but if I'm on the fence about something, I can't just wait until it arrives to find out if I'll be happy with it).

That prechorus part is a bit ear wrecking, but it`s intentional I guess, like teasing somebody.
And before I judge the song as childish, I wait for the full lyrics. The PV seems rather serious.
For me it`s shaping up to be one of her best albums.
I hope it holds the preview standard.

What would you consider one of her worst? And to a further extent, what exactly do you feel ARE her best albums that you feel comfortable placing this new one within the same category as? Just curious.

My two favourite albums are Universe and grow into one.
Kingdom, JAPONESQUE and Dejavu behind.
The worst for me are her first affection, TRICK and also secret (hm, yeah, and also feel my mind). I know most older fans love secret, but for me it`s love-hate -one half is absolutely great, the other just weak.
I can`t explain you musically or technically or anything, cause I don`t have a clue about that stuff, lol. Just what I personally like.
For Bon Voyage I like that all previews have a coherent sound and direction, urban/electronic. My preferable sound, at least with Kuu.
Seemingly no new ballad, no typically cute song - I approve. Also I like or love most of the singles (Koishikute and LaLaLaLaLa are forgettable, the rest is nice).
I could be disappointed in the end, with the full thing.
But for now I like everything. And even so, I`m a big fan and have hope till the very end.

I'm probably in the minority but i'm really diggin' LOL so far, the "HA HA HA Laughing Out Loud!" part is really annoying but it fits the nature of the song nicely. And finally a beat i can jam too, she's had waaaay to few on this album ugh

.... The chorus of LOL, plus the HAHAHAH-thing is really disgusting....
Considering the screencaps i expected something darker, but she has this kind of bitchy-slutty voice that I CAN'T STAND at all -___-'
