If Kuu would make another rock or jazz ballad, that'd be great. No more trying to top Ai no Uta, please.

Half of the stuff is already sold out, wow.
But they normally restock at least one time, so I'm waiting for it.
(and here's hoping they haven't just made a limited amount of items, cause the live is already on Saturday. Fingers crossed!)

I feel like Ku hasn't done anything remarkable in a long time. I didn't feel Dance In The Rain at all. What the hell came before that? I don't even remember the last thing that she released that I was even remotely excited about. Probably U KNOW for a hot second.

No. The arrangement was interesting but the chorus is really flat. I was hyped for it but it really can't hold a candle to many of her other tracks. But, I did love that cutesy one - Lovely. It's such a nice spring-time song.

I don't consider Lovely to be cutesy it's light and jazzy, but it's not cutesy. The video doesn't help either.

Imma disagree with you about pink spider but I'll agree with you about lovely. I like kumi's cutsey trash songs. Even melting.
And I also agree about kumi not really releasing anything memorable. For the non fan, her stuff really just comes and goes. But you can really say that about any of the divas except for new namie and Utada back when she did her thang.
Actually I forgot Bon voyage even existed lol
But not color the cover. That was good-ish

Actually you've gotten me nostalgic for when kumi actually released memorable songs. Like Pieces said, stuff like taboo and shake it. Even freaky and but and even aishou I think. Kumi needs to release a good album again. I mean look at namie. I never really liked her, then she made feel and I was all over her and now she's in my top 3. I liked japonesque but I really only liked 3 songs and I was gonna buy the limited edition at book off but I said it would be a waste of space because I'll skip all the songs. Like with dejavu I have it and don't consider it a waste because I like like most songs on it.

I hope you're joking that you don't remember, but here's the list of the releases after Bon Voyage and before Dance In The Rain anyway:

DRIVING HIT'S 6
HOTEL
LEGEND LIVE (panchiko promo album)

All of them are awesome because Queen Kuu is the best out there imo. :p

I didn't like any of these. DH6 was ok but 4, 5 and Beach Mix had a few killer tracks and 6 had none that made me go "wow".

Hotel was drab.

Legend live... At first I liked so fever but quickly it became annoying. The fact that the chorus just repeats the same melody without resolution I dislike. Overall the atmosphere of the song was great but the composition seriously dull. Also, there is a part that's similar to blak cherry.

Agree. I enjoy U KNOW. I also like SMYH, but almost never play it. HOTEL was my jam in the summer. But I miss songs that I used to be addicted to, like SHAKE IT, Hands, Chase, TABOO, etc.

Didn't care for pink spider, or the remix albums, really. I only liked maybe two track from each of the last three remix albums.

Dance In The Rain deserves all the plays it can get. I should listen to it more but lately I've been drown in a pile of school work so I haven't had enough time to listen Kuu's wonderful songs
