That swing scene was great! I really wish they would have used it, it was so pretty and original, unlike any PV footage I've ever seen, it totally suited the song. This album, it's not her best, I'm beginning to think that I like Memorial Address more still. This album is a bit of a dissapointment to me, but I love some of the tracks, they are some of the coolest Ayu's done yet, but at the same time, some of her worst are also on this album. I give it a 7/10.

I have the same sentiments about the CAROLS swing scene, that boring PV could have used some swing action.

As for the album, I ordered the CD/DVD immediately, but DLed all the songs before receiving it in the mail. So I've been listening to it for a while...I definitely like it, it's just a matter of HOW MUCH I like it. It feels more like a RAINBOW than an I am... or Memorial Address to me. Meaning it's good and I like it well enough, but something seems to be lacking.

All of the singles she released are excellent. About You and walking proud also stand out in my mind. But I have trouble describing my feelings about any of the other tracks. Every time I cycle through the album, I try to develop some intelligent opinion about it, but I'm honestly having difficulty.

Does anyone else think Ayu's vocals are somewhat lacking throughout much of this album? She keeps hitting high notes that are painful to the ears. And I don't feel the familiar passion in her voice in many of the tracks...maybe it is hard to describe. This may sound weird, but I think the best vocals on the entire album are at the very end of HAPPY ENDING. That final verse is delivered with real feeling. It seriously sticks out in my mind for this reason....just like on I am..., I thought the opening of Daybreak was gorgeous.

I got MY STORY on 22th, and I discovered the PVs and all.
The PVs are great.

About You, my name's WOMEN, walking proud and Humming 7/4 are great.
The others (Liar, HOPE or PAIN, HAPPY ENDING and winding road) are forgettable, I mean, they are not good and not bad, but I just can't remember the melody.
I don't like her voice on HONEY and Replace, and these songs remind me of poppy songs from other bad artists.

So, Ayumi made a surprising album, and a good surprise. That is a good point, since she already released 7 albums.
I rate it 8/10.
