now as for the white liquid..its in a way senem - since if we would see it at an other pv of hers then it wouldnt make sense..it fits being that thing..but at the same time its not..appart from being total trash for ayus tastes it symbolises something else like the purity..i think she did that on purpose..everybody would think its senem but its not..

Now, I am one of the last people to take things at face value; because I like to analyze. But in some of her PV's, some things are just what they seem to be. I'm not discarding anyone's purity theory, as it's plausible, but...the white stuff is:

-liquid
-sticky
-white

If it was to represent ONLY purity, and not semen at all, then it would not have been all three of those things. Why bother making it sticky?....

and to top it all off, the PV IS about sex. Now, there are a couple of instances where we do see the white liquid: various shots where ayu is playing with it in her hands, and in the room where it "washes" them all. In the room one, it doesn't make sense for the "purity" liquid to be washing them, cleansing them. The prostitutes did not leave thier professions at the end; and it's safe to assume they would continue being prostitutes which is seen as sinful. Their intentions might be pure, but thier deeds are not.

The point of the room scene with the white liquid going all over them is to state that sex still rules thier lives, not that they are somehow "pure." Because there is nothing to suggest that they are "pure" at the end. I can't really touch on why Ayumi would be playing with it in her hands, maybe it's the same reason--she's ruled by it. Sex is a part of her life; and she simply does not treat sex with an utmost respect--she plays with it. It has no meaning to her, the prostitute, other then to give pleasure to random guys.

Bottom Line.

It's semen, guys.

How is this shallow? I came up with a couple of paragraphs why I think it was semen, and my reasons for it. The semen itself has a meaning. Ayu likes to play with us, and sometimes it's best to take things at face value instead of thinking it may be something else when it could just be what it appears to be (But somehow symbolizing an act or deed)

Which is one of the reasons i think it's both whitewash AND semen. the double entendre is relevant because of both their pure deeds and sinful end. The point of the video seems to be that sinful creatures have feelings, but they're still sinful. (Either that or they may be sinful, but they still have feelings.) Either way, like the song, there's regret felt, but no will power to actually change things.
